The Moment We Shared

A vast moment in the morning
A predicament in the night
Tales of wonder or mourning
Tales of walking in the moonlight
My heart feels like it belongs
Either with quiet whispers or the sound of gongs
Mesmerizing life
Quite double, like a knife
Little by little, the river flows
One's true soul, no one knows
Did I know I would love you?
The world didn't give me the chance to think
The chance to understand, to know, to see
What I see
An amazing complex structure I dare to call my love
A being so wonderful and sent from above
That is how I see the moment we shared
A moment when we both cared
