A flow that took its first steps
A heart that fatefully leapt
Torture and shit came along unnoticed
Two people ever so modest
I don't understand how it became a downfall
I thought we'd stay through it all
Memories of who we were stay in my mind
This fucking stupid tide came our way
Of course, I should've known you'd go away
I have the right to express my feelings
And no, I am not dreaming
My only wish is that we took a different path
One where things blossom and burgeon
Not where we are against each other's version
My mind has wandered through parallels
A story I can definitely tell
Lots of mistakes were made
Through crash and fade
Yet my curse is still loving you
But I appreciate what we've gone through
These are my last words of sorrow and guilt
A kingdom I have now built
Is my new riverbend
