Deep Sorrow

An abstract feeling

An entertainer dreaming

Stories of man

Stories of who can

A limelight which is so sweet

Where two worlds meet

The rush and the gain

The tender, oh so loving pain

My heart runs for something so valuable

Maybe even something unfathomable

A fantasy you and I could see each other freely

A destiny where you and I love unconditionally

Can something like that even exist?

Or am I amiss?

I may be young and have been told

That everything comes with a price and is sold

Yet do I have to pay for the cost of one?

Yes, my mistakes cannot be undone

You hurt me and I hurt you

Does it make you and I a fool?

Only if we decide to lay

On a rocky road no one knows

To me, that is how you can betray

You've went to a deep low

Not even I see the fruits of my transgressions

For I am insane

There is no passion

Like a country with rations

An overwhelming deliberation

A deep sorrow I dismally own
