We hadn't spoken in two days.
TWO DAYS!
Well I haven't spoken to him in two days. He's spoken to me many times but I refuse to listen. I'm highly stubborn when I'm angry.
However, I have a feeling I'm at my last straw, there's so much attitude that a man like Killian can take until he snaps.
Moreover, at the moment im sitting in Mr.Rivers office talking about the new arrangements. And when I say new arrangements, I mean I'm officially becoming the new President and CEO of Lakex Real Estate Agency.
Surprising? Yeah I know. It all went down when I visited Mr.Rivers the other day.
Flashback
I got out of my car and peered up at the tall building at which I once worked. I honestly didn't want to come back but I feel as if I shouldn't run away from a big part of my life because of something i had no control of.
Thus, today I face my fears.
I began my agonizing walk into the building. As soon as I entered I was met by the stairs of many. A lot i guess couldn't believe i was here after disappearing for such a long time.
However having all these eyes on me made me feel uneasy. I rushed towards the elevator in a hurry to escape the very situation I didn't feel like being in.
Once in the elevator i sighed of relief and relished in it until I heard the 'ding' of the elevator indicating i had reached my stop.
Walking out I'm lucky to see no one was out of their offices. The highest level of the firm held all the important and top people and they had their own offices so you'd rarely see them out just walking about.
I went all the way to the end of the hall where the biggest office of them all stood and knocked on the door.
"Who is it." I heard Mr.Rivers gruff voice.
"It's Kat."
There was a short pause for a moment until I heard, "Come in."
I twisted the knob of one of the double doors and opened it up entering his office. Mr.Rivers sat behind the black marble desk and immediately after seeing me enter the old man I love so, came rushing to me. He squeezed me in a tight hug that relieved me of all my stress in that very minute.
"Aw my big head baby." He said as he let go. "How've you been? Not that I missed you though." He joked, however his expression held no playful sense but was awfully wary.
I laughed a little, but I also wanted to cry because of how much I missed him so and I know he did me.
