3rd POV

To Killian and Kataleya this vacation was much needed. So they and everyone else could for once rest with no problems and no stress. It was their time to look at the sun as it sat at the horizon illuminating the beautiful sky of colors from blue to yellow to purple.

At time of peace.

The beach house they stayed in oversaw the ocean that was so blue in the day time but so dark at night. The palm trees made brushing noises as the strong wind blowed across.

A paradise that could only be called an antidote.

Though right now they stood all in the mall shopping for a small day at the beach.

"Leya what the hell you doing women?" Killian asked confused as he watched her pick out a bathing suit for the beach which the piece she was looking at was little of nothing.

"What are you talking about?" She asked but in all reality was ignoring his possessiveness.

The bikini she picked out was a bright yellow that fitted her chocolate skin to a T. The bottom piece tied at the sides of her hips and the top tied behind her neck and at the back.

"You're not getting that." He challenged her.

"Killian baby." She held the piece in her hands and approached him. She grabbed his sharp chin with her small hand and brought his face down. "You control me in the sheets and I control me out of them. Now be a good hubby and go get me something to eat." With that she pecked his lips before walking away.

Killian stood in slight shock but what he mainly had on his mind was what Kataleya had called him which made him smile from ear to ear before leaving to go get her food.

After buying her swim suit Kataleya had finally joined Mary and the kids at the boba café. All the kids sat down at the tables drinking their drinks and eating some small macaroons.

"Kataleya did you want anything?" Mary asked as she just bought her a boba of her own while she rocked baby Jose to sleep.

"No I'm good Killian went to get me something to eat."

Mary nodded sticking the thick straw into the cup, before speaking up again. "Speaking of." Mary took a small sip of her drink. "I'm seeing the improvement. In your bond, I mean, it's grown stronger."

Kataleya smiled a light smile just thinking about it. "Yeah I know. He's everything and hopefully we have a long future ahead of us."

"Like— marriage?" Mary asked looking at Kataleya intently.

"Yeah but it's probably too soon to think on it so I haven't given it my at most attention." The corner of the side of her mouth lifted but the overall look on her face was distant, especially when she glance at the baby in Mary's arms.

"Look, trust me that man loves you to the moon and back and I'm sure it won't be as long as you think." Mary reassured. "And plus everything you've guys done for my family. Pft if you were to split I'd kill the both of you."

That made Kataleya laugh and cheer up. "And I guarantee you we aren't done helping." She gave Mary a tight hug as she hinted at the fact that they still haven't found Lucia.
