Seaira's POV

I'm running with Rick down an alley to the asshole that knocked out Sasha, I know he is good, but why is he doing this? We ran for what felt like forever. We see a walker up a head, I tell Rick to keep running as he passes it I run past the walker with my Ice axe out. With my speed I hold my weapon out, slicing the head in half.

We eventually get to the clearing we were running to the cop car. Rick has his pistol raised but no one was here. "Get in!" Rick orders. I slide over the hood to the passenger side as he get in the driver side. He hands me his machete and we slam the doors closed. He speeds off in the car.

We speed and swerves past small groups of walkers and Gain on Lamson, running as fast as he can away from the danger. I notice a Picture of Lamson and a boy with him, his son maybe.

Rick picks up the walkie to the announcer in the car, "Stop. Stop right now." It echoes outside. Rick driving a few yards behind the running man. "Stop." Rick repeats. "I won't ask again." He warns. Rick drops the mic and speeds up. "Rick!" I yell. "Don't!" I hold on tight to the oh shit handle above my door.

We hit Lamson as Rick slams to a stop, causing us to almost whiplash. Lamson's body flies a few feet away, landing harshly. Rick asks if I'm okay and I don't say anything. He shuts off the engine and we get out the car. We walk up to Lamson and he keeps repeating help me. His hands still tied behind his back, blood coming from his mouth. a small blood splat under his head on the pavement.

"Fuck." I say quietly. "You crazy- son of a bitch." Lamson says, gasping in pain between words. He breathes rapidly. "I think you- I think you broke my back." "Didn't have to be like this. You just had to stop." Rick says calmly. "I couldn't. I don't know you." Lamson pants. I put my hands on my head, interlocking my fingers.

Rick squats down. "But I think- I think I'm getting an idea." Lamson pants. I pace behind Rick as he speaks. "You just had to stop." Rick repeats. "Take me back. Take me back to the hospital." Lamson says. We hear walkers and Rick and I glance over.

They are a few yards away, so we aren't in a hurry. "I did it for your friend." Lamson wheezes. Rick stands back up, I stop pacing and stand next to him. "Not after this, no. Can't go back, Bob." Rick shakes his head. "Rick." I say lowly. Uncomfortable with him using the cops first name.

He looks at me then at the walkers. He turns his focus back to Lamson. "I was gonna Iron it over. She's under it. And you've been out here too long." Rick pull out his python and aims it at Lamson. "Rick." I plead. Lamson speaks up again, looking at me. "Stuck between a rock and a hard place right?" He looks back at Rick. "You'll die. You'll all-" Rick shoots him before Lamson finishes, I flinch at the sound. I breathe out a shaky breathe. The gunshot echoes. "Shut up." Rick says to the dead body.

I shake my head and go back to the car, slamming my door in the process. My mind races once again. I'm unraveling and I don't know why. I'm fucking heartless, why do I care about a stranger? I ball my fists up in anger in my lap. I repeatedly punch the dash and stop, "fuck." I sigh. Rick finally gets in the car and drives us back, not a single word spoken.

Rick and I walk back into the room the group is in. Daryl walks to us. "You okay?" Daryl asks. I look away. Rick chimes in. "He wouldn't stop. "This change things?" Daryl asks Rick. "It has to." He answers. "Maybe not." Daryl disagrees. I look up at him.

"She said the plan wont work. The guy who did is dead." Rick motions to Shepard. "Maybe we gotta rethink this." Rick looks back at us. "They also said the cop in charge didn't have any love for him. Maybe you did her a favor." Daryl negotiates. "I don't know if they'll play ball." Rick looks at the hostages.
