seaira's POV
We head out when it got dark. Everyone piled into the RV while Rick, Aaron, Michonne, and Glenn got in the car Aaron has.
Before stick gets in the car, he comes up to me, "Ride with us, you can read Aaron well. I want you with me. Can you do that?" He asks. I turn back and look at Daryl that's waiting for me to get in the RV.
I sigh, "Yeah. But you gotta promise hoss over there that I'll be safe and sound." I smile. Rick returns one and pats my shoulder before going to Daryl.
I hold my shoulder; I have to change bandages pretty soon. I see Daryl glance at me and give a single nod. They both walk back to me, and Daryl hugs me.
"I'll see you soon. I promise Darlin'." I tell him. He lets me go and looks at me. "You better Angel." He smiles. He goes to the RV, and I slide between Michonne and Aaron in the back.
Rick is in the passenger seat while Glenn drives and the RV is right behind us.
We drive for a while in silence. It's a little awkward but without music, it's almost always awkward.
Rick gets to the point he gets nosy and opens the glove box while Glenn still drives.
The little glove box light turns on and you see a small stack of license plates. I glance over his shoulder and see their different states.
Aaron pipes up from my right. "Um, I'm trying to collect all 50 states. Put them all on a wall at my house." He smiles, proud of himself.
I look at him questioningly. House? Also, who has time for a small hobby or project like that?
"You have your own house?" Michonne asks. "Mhm, see for yourself." He says motioning to the pictures in his bag at my feet.
Michonne and I glance at each other, and I reach into the bag pulling the pictures out. She leans closer to me as I flip through them.
Houses with solar panels in a field. A few farmhouses along with a suburb street with houses lined down the way. I glance at Aaron, him smiling proudly at his community. I look back at the photos. Using the little light, we have.
Michonne looks up at Aaron, "did you ask him the questions?" She asks Rick. Oh yeah, he never asked me either.
"No." Rick says slowly. Michonne looks at me then Aaron. "How many walkers have you killed?" She asks him. "I'm sorry what?" Aaron asks confused.
"How many?" She ignores him and continues. He doesn't say anything for a minute. We all glance at each other uncomfortably. "I-I don't know. A lot." He finally answers.
"How many people?" She questions. I think to myself. All the people I've killed before terminus. How many people I was forced to slaughter. I never told them. I can't now.
"Two." He says quietly. "Why?" She whispers. "Because they tried to kill me." He says with grief. But knowing he had to do it.
I had to because it was what I was trained for. If I didn't it was my life on the line.
Rick picks up something that was on his floorboard. It looks like a microphone with a saucer on top. Listening.
