Seaira's POV

Glenn reaches Nick before he gets in the van and yanks him out, throwing him to the ground. Nick is lucky I didn't catch him first. Glenn starts punching him in the face repeatedly. Glenn finally gets off Nick and stands up, Eugene looking bewildered.

I'm shaking; Nick killed Noah to save his skin. Glenn didn't have to tell me; that's whose blood is on Glenn's clothes, and that's why Glenn was hysterical when I came up to him in the door. I'm also guessing they didn't get Aiden out, either. It was a failed mission all because of Nick. I shrug off my makeshift shawl and toss it on the ground.

Glenn breathes heavily as Eugene takes a couple of steps towards him. "Help me get him in the back." Glenn says with a shaky voice. "Where's Noah?" Gene asks. Glenn looks at Gene; tears threaten to spill again. This causes me to turn around and gather myself before I did the same.

Glenn walks away from us. My hands turn into balled fists by my side, my nails piercing my palm. I spin around and look at Nick, who is trying to get up. "I don't know what's going to happen to you, but if it's up to me, you'll beg for mercy." I state with venom. Nick looks more scared than he already is.

Gene and I put Nick in the back, and I told Eugene to get in the van. I approach Glenn, who is a couple of yards from the vehicle. He turns and looks at me. I embrace him in a hug, he returns it, and we stand there for a couple of minutes. I know Glenn; he and I have always been on the same page and have each other's backs. Always the same game plan.

"I'm so sorry." That's all I can say not to break down. "It's my fault." He whispers. I pull away and have my hands on his shoulders. "You shut the fuck up right now. It's Nick's fault; he was the coward, and he got Noah killed. I don't know what will happen when we return to Alexandra, but if it's up to me, he will hang for his actions." I tell him. Glenn puts his head on my shoulder, and I know he is hurting. I don't dare ask how it happened.

Glenn Is driving us back to the community; Eugene is in the passenger seat with his pistol towards Nick while he watches over Tara, who is still unconscious. I have her head resting in my lap. Nick is curled up with his knees to his chest, sitting by the back doors.

We arrive at the community at dusk. Eugene takes Tara to the infirmary; Glenn, Nick, and I go to Deanna's to tell her what happened. No words are spoken as we approach her house.

Glenn knocks on the door. She opens the door and looks at all of us. In our current state, blood on our clothes, tears in our eyes. She asks Nick to come in, "I want to get all of your side of the story, one at a time." She says, They go inside, and Glenn and I walk to Ricks.

The three of us sit on Rick's porch. Glenn tells Rick and me everything from seeing the Granades on the walker's vest to when Nick panicked. "He was gonna run. But we made him stay. I couldn't get Aiden out of there without help." Glenn has a thousand-yard stare, remembering what happened.

"All Nick had to do was hold the door. But he panicked. Noah, I had him," He looks at us both. "I had his hand." He looks down, "I tried," His breath getting shaky. "I watched him die." Rick's eyes are getting watery.

"I almost left him out there. Could have told a story. What, you think I should have?" Glenn asks Rick. I stay quiet; Glenn knows what I want to happen, but it won't. "They don't know what they're doing. Any of them." Rick states. "We'll show them." Glenn tries.
