Para lang akong bata na nakasunod kay Trevor as he walked to his unit. Dito pa din pala siya nakatira.

"Uhh... Am I gonna stay here for the night?" I asked, almost mumbling, nang makapasok na kami sa unit niya. It's almost four in the morning, medyo antok na din ako pero if he wants to talk, wala na akong magagawa.

"Yeah, I'll take you home later," he casually answered as he put his keys on the bowl on his coffee table.

Napakamot nalamang ako sa batok ko. How the fuck will I clean my face?

"Oh, okay. Is it okay to use your bathroom?" I politely asked. He nodded before heading to his room.

Napabuntong hininga nalamang ako bago magpunta sa banyo niya. I'm not gonna lie, it feels good to be back. His condo feels like home to me.

Tila ba ay tumigil ang pag-ikot ng puso ko when I opened the bathroom at bumungad sa akin ang pink na toothbrush katabi ang black na toothbrush. There are skin care products on the counter, too, and a white towel with floral embroidery.

"That's Trixcy's," I suddenly heard Trevor's voice. I immediately faked a chuckle.

"Cute," ang tanging nasabi ko and sweetly smiled at him para itago ang hiya. Dalaga na nga din pala si Trixy, she's as the same age as my little sister Nardan.

"Here, para may pambihis ka," walang emosyon nitong sabi habang inaabot sa akin ang pink silky pajama set.

"Trixcy's too?" I sheepishly smile at him. He nodded as a response. "Thanks."

Naghilamos agad ako ng malamig na tubig nang makapasok ako sa banyo, hoping it would ease the hiya at kaba na nararamdaman ko ngayon.

"Do you want something to drink?" he asked nang makalabas na ako ng banyo.

"Iinom ka din ba?"

He nodded. Tumango din naman ako.

"Alright, I'll make a lemonade vodka," he stated at kinuha ang bote ng vodka at lemonade juice niya. Pinaghalo nito ang dalawa at binigyan ako nito ng baso.

We awkwardly sat at the living room while a football game was playing on his tv. I don't understand sports. The awkward atmosphere was too thick, kanina pa ako naghihintay kung kailan niya ako kakausapin.

Bigla nalamang tumayo si Trevor at nagpunta sa kusina. I noticed na gumawa ulit siya ng lemonade vodka. Ang bilis naman niya, we've only been here for like fifteen minutes! Hindi pa ako nakakalahati.

"They scored," I randomly told him nang maupo siya ulit because one of the team scored when he left.

"That's not my team," he casually answered.

"Oh," ang tangi kong nasabi. Malay ko ba!

"I already saw this game kanina, my team lost," dagdag pa nito. Tumango tango nalamang ako. So bakit pa natin 'to pinapanood?

There was another moment of silence. Hindi na ako nakatiis pa kay nagsalita nalamang ako. "How's Trixcy?" I asked para mawala ang awkward atmosphere between us.

"She's doing great," tipid nitong sagot habang nakatuon pa din ang atensyon sa tv then he took a sip of his drink.

"May nagsisimula na sigurong manligaw 'no? Andami ko na nga naririnig na may nanliligaw na kay Nardan at sa mga pinsan kong si Eumika at Chanty eh," pagkwento ko pa. My smile faded when he just ignored what I said. He was just intently looking at the tv.
