Sonakshi gasped for breath as she fell down on the marble floor.
The forceful grasp was painful and she could feel the cold air tingling the skin of her waist were the fingers of the ghostly being had pierced the clothing.
Her eyes looked around,
No one is there.
Where did that ugly figure disappear??
Just then she heard footsteps from behind.
Is it that ghost??
Hurrying up on her feet, Sonakshi fetched the knife while walking towards the direction of sound.
A straight stab into the heart.
All done.
Inching near the wall, she pressed her back against it with her hands ready with the knife.
The sound increased indicating the footsteps arrival near her.
As she felt it was too close, she raised her knife and lunged forward.

Dev and Abdul rushed inside the villa.
"I said na Bhai, not to stay here alone, now your wife is in danger,"
Dev wasn't in mood of listening to his neighbour.
All I care for now is Sonakshi.
He walked in.
She might be in kitchen.
He followed his instincts.
Abdul followed him behind.
As he made way to the kitchen he felt some uneasiness.
By the time he reached the curve,
Someone jumped in front of him, aiming the knife to his heart.
He shrieked. It was Sonakshi.

Vicky and Elena, now married in same courtroom as their elder counterparts Dev and Sonakshi, smiled.
The only difference is that Asha and Mami had accompanied them.
Yeah. Mami supported her son's love.
"You are now declared as married couple by the court," The registrar declared.

Sonakshi was crying bitterly.
"I am sorry Dev...I didn't mean to stab you..." She hiccuped, "I thought it to be that ugly man, he..."
She was held by Dev, who wrapped his hands around her protectively.
"Sshh...I know Sonakshi. You can never do that knowingly."
"Who was that ugly man??" Abdul asked.
"I don't know...I was working in kitchen when someone hugged me from behind. I thought it to be Dev but no it was not his touch. It was different. I saw his reflection in marble slab. It was half charred face with a toothless smile."
"Is it sir Greenwood's ghost??" Abdul blurted out only to receive a angry glare from Dev.
"Ghost??" Sonakshi recoiled.
That driver. This guy.
Oh god!! Is the house really haunted??
"No. Nothing like that. Sonakshi look at me."
He held her face facing his eyes.
"There is no ghost okay. It's just a panic attack."
"Panic attack??"
"Can't you remember?? Once back at Mumbai, you got a panic attack at my penthouse?? Stating that you saw a inhuman figure in room??" Dev explained, while holding her close, "That's different. It was far away from me." Sonakshi argued,
"But someone hugged me from behind, I said na I could feel the touch...even my kurta top was..." She pointed out at the places were the piercings was found.
"There is nothing," Dev said in a tone of worry.
Sonakshi was flabbergasted.
It was there.
I know very well.

Vicky walked in with Elena.
Mami followed them closely.
"What's happening here??"
Ishwari's voice boomed across the mansion.
Mama came running out of his room.
Never had my sister shouted this loud.

"Take care of Bhabhi," Abdul said while walking out, "And beware of Sir Greenwood,"
"Sshh...don't say loud." Dev said in a hushed voice.
"I don't believe that there is something wrong and  If you say things to Sona then she will be freaking out for nothing, let me confirm things first."
Abdul nodded.
"What about a psychiatrist from nearby clinic??" Dev asked while Abdul murmured things.
Sonakshi looked at men talking in hushed voices.
Why is Dev not believing me??
Is he talking to that man about taking me to a shrink??
I am not mad Dev!!

"What have you done Radha??" Mama questioned Mami.
Has she gone nuts??
"I did what I thought is to be right," Mami replied, "Vicky loves Elena and I want my son to be happy,"
"Elena is a bangalan and you hate Bangalans." Mamaji raised his eyebrow.
"Who said so?? I don't hate all Bangalans. I hate Sonakshi. That's it."
"Fine." Mama sighed, "Vicky get out!!"
"What are you saying Bhaiya??" Ishwari came forward.
"Haan...I am saying the right thing," Mama replied, "He did a court marriage in my absence. I am not ready to accept it. Ask him to get out."
"Tum pagal hai?? I supported him." Mami said.
"Haan bhaiya, Bhabhi sahi keh ray hai. One of the elders supported him, then..."
"If so, I supported Dev in his decision!! But you guys sent him away from his own house, is it Right??" Mamaji taunted.
Ishwari and Mami fell silent.

Sonakshi laid down on the bed, thinking about the things that happened at morning.
Who was that man??
"Sonakshi..." Dev walked in with breakfast tray.
She didn't reply.
"Arrey...have your breakfast. You didn't have anything from morning."
Silence.
"Sona," Dev sat near her wrapping an arm around her, "Kya hua??"
"This house is haunted Dev," Sonakshi said with fear, "Let's move out,"
"No. Nothing like that." Dev took a spoon of oats, "You might have imagined things,"
"Am I mad to say or blabber something??" Sonakshi bursted out, "I said what I experienced and still you act as if you aren't convinced."
"Sonakshi, I feel you are running mad as you are staying inside this villa for a long time,"
Dev said worried, "Why don't we go for a walk to my new friend's home, the one you met at morning, his name is Abdul."
Sonakshi said nothing.
"Waise bhi, his sister na...she is a... psychiatrist. Works at a local clinic."
"I expected this," Sonakshi bursted out, "You are thinking that I am mad, that I am not still over the incident that haunted me a year back when we were dating."
"No. Not at all." Dev held her tight," I just said that she is a doctor, nothing else."
Sonakshi was crying.
Once again.
"Sona..." He wiped the tears, "Kuch nahi. The words of driver might have been stored in your subconscious mind, hence making you imagine things."
"But Dev..."
"Sona..." Dev caressed her hair, "Stop thinking about things, okay??"
He brushed his lips against her forehead. The couple froze in the position for few minutes, letting out the stress and memories they had experienced till a minutes ago.
A smile crept up on Sonakshi's face when Dev's fragrance hit her nostrils.
"Now, have these oats," Dev pulled back while stuffing the oats into her mouth with the spoon.
