The road home ( Naruto Fanfic)

New Start

" You're wish shall be granted. Fear not child for you are reborn."

I bolted up, panting I searched my body looking for wounds. To my surprise I found none. What? That-how? I then realized I was in my room. Not just any room my old one. Could it be?

I ran to my mirror and started to cry. There I was, six year old me. I don't know how or why but I'm alive. Death was so close...Naruto!!!

I ran out of my room, sadness, guilt, fear, happiness I was overflowing with emotion. Running past my parents I shot out of the house and down the street. "Sakura!!!!"I didn't care if people stared I didn't care.

I found Naruto's apartment building and ran to his room. I banged on the door. Please be home, please be home!!!!! A groggy Naruto opened the door. " Who-" I tackled him.

I started to cry, a shocked Naruto lay there puzzled. I was flooded with relief that he was alive even if it wasn't the Naruto I knew. I pulled him closer. " I'm sorry! I'm so sorry Naruto!" He frantically patted my back " Look I don't know who you are or how you know me but get off!!!!"

I looked at him puzzled, that's right I almost forgot we met in the academy. It's a couple years too early. "I-I'm sorry." I looked at the ground. Too ashamed to look at him. I should have waited...I'm an idiot.

I started to cry more, I tried to stop but I couldn't. "H-Hey! Stop crying! I wasn't trying to be mean you just surprised me!" I stared at him. " I know, I shouldn't have done that." He then scratched his head.

" Who are you anyway? Most people avoid me..." I gasped, that's right during this time Naruto was hated because he was a jinjuriki. " Right. My name is Sakura Haruno, I-uh we met sometime ago. Some kids bullied you and I didn't help. I'm sorry."

I hated lying to him, young Naruto was still Naruto. Even if he didnt know it. "It's okay, I'm used to it. Say are ya hungry? I know a great ramen place!"

I smiled same ol' Naruto. "Yeah!!"  He then pointed at my clothes. " Uh you're n-night gown." I then realized I ran out without changing. "Could I borrow some clothes? I'll return them. I guess I just wanted to let you know how sorry I was and forgot to change."

He gave me that big goofy smile and said sure.
