The road home ( Naruto Fanfic)

An early start

I woke up and got changed, then it hit me. If I want to stop the war and if I can't then win it and not die in it this time. Then I must start training now. Naruto too...when he was young the shadow clone justu was hard for him. And I know one person who would be willing to teach us.

I ran down stairs, " Papa! Can I train to be a ninja?" He spit out his food and my mom choked on her coffee. " I-uh why the sudden interest?" And now it's time to pull the heartstrings. I put on my cutest smile " So I can be strong like mommy and papa!"

I tried not to cringe, but it worked he started to cry as my mom comforted him. " My little girl is starting to adore me!" My mother rolled her eyes but smiled. " Can I bring a friend too?" That hooked my mother in. "Yes! Of course! Dear did you hear that she has a friend!"

Gee thanks for the reassurance. I quickly ran to go get Naruto. Should I bring Hinata? That's not a good idea her dad doesn't like outsiders so I'll wait on that. " Naruto wake up we have training too do!"

Naruto swing the door open " We have what now?" I giggled, " Training! My dad agreed to train us." He groaned, " but why now~" I flicked his head.

" If we start now we can be further than everyone else! And you would be one step closer to hokage!" He sped out the door with me on his heels. " Come on! Hokage seat here I come believe it!" I laughed " Yeah!"

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Sasuke watching us run by laughing. Should I-no he's not the priority right now. I ignored him and ran past Naruto. " Hey! No fair Sakura-chan!" I hollered back laughing" Hurry up slow poke or I'm gonna win!" He dashed after me.
