Ramen and a Story

As we walked together people glared. I felt his unease so I held his hand and started to walk faster. He seemed flustered...oh right in my previous life he loved me. Unlike last time I won't push him away. He deserves better than that.

"Which way?" I pretended not to know the way. With a boost of confidence he pulled me with him. " This way Sakura-chan!!!" I smiled, this is the Naruto that I adored.

Time went by much faster then expected. We arrived and sat down. " The normal old man!" I smacked him upside the head. " Ow!"

" Ask nicely Naruto. He might give us a discount!" He then nodded and said please. " And for this young lass?" I smiled, " I'll have the same thing please." I felt a familiar chakra walking by so I peeked my head out. Hinata..."hey hold on a sec be right back!"

I left a confused Naruto behind and sped after Hinata. "Hey! Wait up! Your Hinata Hyuga right?" She smiled shyly "Y-Yes." I smiled and held out my hand. " Sakura Haruno, would you like to join us? I know it's not an ideal breakfast but my friend likes it."

She nodded, that's good. I should start small and gradually get bigger. After all if I don't start now I won't be able to stop the war from coming. It will come in handy having her as an ally.

We entered the shop and Naruto turned his head. Instantly Hinata blushed. "Oh h-hi Naruto-kun..." Naruto smiled his mouth filled with ramen. " Hi! Is she your friend too Sakura-chan?" I shook my head. " Not yet but hopefully soon!"

As we sat down to eat Naruto then asked a question I'd never thought he'd ask. " Hey Sakura-chan?"

"Yeah?" He gulped down the last of his ramen. " Why did you change your mind? About helping me?" I smiled," Because I know how painful it can be when people start treating you different." It's true.

I used to be bullied because I was a crybaby with a big forehead. That was until Ino bailed me out. Not long after that we fought and our friendship ended. All over my obsession with Sasuke. But not this time. I won't swoon over him and I won't force my love onto him.

If anything I need to make it to where him and Naruto couldn't be without each other. That's going to be a challenge though. Sadly, that incident with Ino already happened and as stubborn as she is. She wouldn't listen to me.

" You know what it's like? But how? Your so pretty and nice no one could be mean to you!" I felt a sense of ease with his complement. " That's not entirely true. I used to be a big crybaby. And because I had a big forehead I was ashamed of myself. So I hid it. And they knew and took advantage of it. That went on until someone got me out of it by reassuring me."

Hinata's eyes held sadness of her own, she was bullied because of her features as well. Naruto stiffened. I could sense his anger and resentment. " That's in the past now. And look we have each other! So how about we formally introduce ourselves and get to know each other!"

Naruto and Hinata brightened, " Okay!!!!"

"My name is Hinata Hyuga and I want to become stronger like my cousin Neji."

Ah, Neji died in the war. Stop it! I mentally slapped myself. He's alive now that's all that matters!

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki and I'm going to be the next hokage believe it!"

I giggled, I'm glad that part of him hasn't changed. After all he did on my past life he deserves to be hokage.

" I'm Sakura Haruno and I'm going to be the strongest medical konochi there is!" I shouted

We all laughed at the end. " Say how about we make a promise. From this day forward no matter what we stick together and help each other with our goals! As family!!"

I shouted the last part, forget friends both of them were dear to me and boundaries shouldn't separate them from my heart. Naruto trembled " You mean it. You want me to be in your family?" I held both his and Hinata's hand.

"Yes, I mean it. From this day forward we are family!" We hugged and Naruto did something I definitely didn't expect. " Hell yeah! I got a family!" Me and Hinata exchanged smiles. And then tackled Naruto.

Yeah....we are family
