Draco gave a small yawn as his eyes blinked open. He had fallen asleep on the couch apparently, based on his upright position. The weight on his side, as expected, was Harry Potter himself.

The emotional conversation must have tuckered them out. Draco's fingers threaded through the soft raven hair pressed into his side.

One week, then they will be sealing the deal for good. You couldn't blame them, Death Eaters kill more and more people every day. Both caught up in the middle.

"Draco...?" the raven-haired boy whispered, his voice hoarse from sleep.

"Hey, sorry for waking you up, " Draco whispered, sinking comfortably into the couch. Harry gave a small yawn.

"Nah, it's fine, we should be getting back sometime soon anyway," Harry stretched.

"I was actually thinking we stay here for the night, " Draco whispered with a smirk.

"Pfft- Draco, it's a school night, " Harry laughed, turning to face the blonde fully.

"And?" Draco grinned and pulled Harry closer. His hands attacked the Gryffindor's sides vigorously, ripping laugher from Harry's throat.

"Merlin, s-stop!" Harry frantically tried to escape the grip.

"That's not my name, " Draco said confidently, only continuing to tickle the boy.

"Draco!" Harry choked through a laugh. Draco's eyes widened at the pure face of joy on the boy's face. He could no longer resist pulling the boy onto his lap.

His hands were still while his lips found Harry's. The raven-haired boy had barely caught his breath but kissed the blond back nonetheless.

As they parted, Harry completely winded, Draco leaned his head forward.

"You know, I had the most beautiful dream, " Harry whispered. Draco grinned at the more innocent topic.

"Oh yeah? What was it about?" Draco looked into those lovely emerald eyes. They glittered back at him softly.

"We were free. Living on the edge of the world, where no one can hurt us, " Harry wrapped his arms over Draco's shoulder.

"We were by the ocean, the breeze was so nice, Draco, " Harry whispered sadly.

"I'd give anything to be there with you, " the Gryffindor finished. Draco rubbed reassuring circles into his sides.

"Being here with you is enough for me. War or not, I don't know where or who I'd be if I hadn't found you, " Draco said with a small smile.

"Well, you didn't really find me, did you? Since I was here the whole time," Harry smirked.

"Well, your lips feel a lot better then the wand you've been beating me up with the last few years," Draco laughed. Harry rolled his eyes.

"You deserved it, you ponce."

"Rude."

Their lips found each other again. Draco was glad that their many months together had better trained him to resist blood. Now he could be close to Harry and not want to eat him.

At least not in that way.

"I love you, Draco," Harry whispered between their parted lips.

"I love you too," Draco kissed him with even more force. Hands, lips and love all tangled together.

They were tangled up in each other. For better or for worse, they were too deep to escape now.

Clothes were removed and lips traced skin. Hot and cold clashed and embraced each other. They were addicted.

Addicted to each other.

They didn't go much farther. They agreed to wait the week. Though, they were quite impatient individuals.

Soon, they had settled for sleep. Although, Harry wasn't sure when he had ended up agreeing to sleep in the RoR.

Draco had fallen asleep first, holding Harry loosely. Harry however, looked out at the bright night sky just out the window. The moon was a mere crescent.

His gaze was drawn to the shadow of a figure approaching the window. As it came closer, Harry recognized it as an owl. It landed on the window sill with a chirp.

Harry carefully removed himself from Draco to get to the window. He let the barn owl in, noticing the note in it's claws. As the RoR supplied the owl with a treat, Harry unraveled the note.

'Please meet me in my office
-A.D."

Harry's eyes narrowed. On the back was reference to certain Wizarding candy.

This was something he felt guilty about. Without Draco's knowledge and minimal information to Ron and Hermione, Harry had been having private meetings with Dumbledore. Meetings he had taken much more seriously after the attempted murder of his teammate.

He looked back at the sleeping blond. He looked peaceful. Harry decided not to burden him with what Dumbledore wanted.

He gathered and put on his clothes. Harry walked over to Draco, giving a small kiss to his forehead before turning for the door. At least, until he was stopped by a firm hand.

"Harry...?" Draco whispered, his eyes barely open.

"It's fine, I just have to use the restroom. You can go back to sleep, Draco, " Harry whispered softly.

"M'kay, I love you, " the blond's hand went lax, releasing Harry's arm.

"I love you too, " Harry sighed. He walked forward towards the door with one last look back at Draco.

Draco knowing would put him in danger and Harry couldn't risk that. No, he had to protect him.

No matter how many lies he had to tell.

I re-wrote this chapter legit four times and I am still unhappy with it. Life is a mess per usual and I am in advanced classes which doesn't make finding time much easier. Everyone always needed something from me and could find the time nor inspiration to sit down and write this until today.
But for real TYSM for 100k, I can't believe I could ever blow a book up like that. Thank you for the tremendous support.
