Harry opened his heavy eyes. He squinted as fuzzy light filled his view. He shook his head lightly and grabbed his glasses from his nightstand. He pushed them onto his face as he sat up.

Harry pushed away his blanket and threw his legs off the bed as he stretched. He stood up and walked to his dresser with a yawn. He pulled off the light grey shirt he had slept in.

"Damn, Harry. Ripped much?" Harry turned his head to the voice. He rolled his eyes and turned back to his dresser.

"You better not let Dean hear you, Seamus," Harry chuckled, taking off his pyjama pants.

"Me hear what? How hot you are? Don't get me started on the fan service that seeing Harry Potter without a shirt is," Dean laughed, walking out of the showers with a towel wrapped around his waist.

"You guys are supposed to be gay for eachother, not me," Harry shook his head with a smile. Dean shrugged, kissing Seamus' cheek on his way to his dresser. Harry finished buttoning his jeans and grabbing his white button up.

"Hey, Harry, don't you have quidditch today?" Dean looked up at Harry, pulling on his slacks.

"Don't remind me," Harry sighed as he buttoned up his under shirt.

"Wait, I thought you loved quidditch?" Seamus raised his eyebrows quizzically.

"I do, it's my favorite thing to do. Today is just one of those days. Have papers due and I'm just exhausted, you know?" Harry said with a frown. The moon was gonna make his schedule tight today. Not that they understood why he was so off put. Dean shrugged.

"Yeah, I guess I get what you mean. I hope it gets better, mate," Dean supplied as he finished up buttoning his undershirt. Harry was pulling on his robes.

"Yeah," Harry sighed. He picked up his bag and Gryffindor tie and slung it over his shoulder and waved.

"See ya at breakfast," Harry smiled as they waved back. Harry saw as they didn't even wait for him to fully close the door to cling to each other. "No one wants a werewolf. Even if they did, I could hurt them,' Harry thought as he finally closed the door. He looked up at the sound of a slight cough.

There stood Hermione, dressed in her black skirt and robe, with her arms crossed.

"Morning, sleeping beauty," Hermione laughed, making Harry smile. Harry walked down the steps to the main common room. "Need help with your tie?"

"Pretty please?" Harry smiled goofily. Hermione rolled her eyes and tied the Gryffindor's tie with a smile.

"You're such a dork," Hermione mumbled as she finished. Harry put a hand to his chest.

"Oh, how you wound me," Harry gasped, withholding laughter. Hermione laughed.

"Get over yourself. Now, c'mon before we miss breakfast. You need your strength today," Hermione turned and walked toward the portrait. Harry trotted behind her.

"Are you going to practice today?" Hermione asked as they got into the hallway. Harry nodded while looking out the windows of the castle as they walked. "Harry!"

"What?" Harry yelped in surprise at the sudden loud yell.

"The you-know-what is tonight! It's too dangerous, Harry!" Hermione whisper-yelled.

"I've played quidditch for the last two years as a wolf and it's been fine," Harry reminded Hermione. Hermione huffed.

"I know that, Harry! But what happens if practice runs late, or you get sent to Madam Pomfree's, or-" Hermione was cut off by Harry grabbing her shoulders.

"HERMIONE!" Harry stated loudly to bring her back to earth. "I am going to be fine. Just like always. You don't need to be so worried, I promise!" Harry reassured her. She nodded hesitantly. Harry pulled her into a hug. "You know I love you, right?"

Hermione opened her mouth as if she was about to say something when she was pulled out of the hug.

"Nope, not gonna happen. I refuse to watch this anymore. Get your own girlfriend, Potter," the person pulling Hermione stated bluntly.

"P-Pansy?!" Hermione squealed as a face pressed against her neck, bobbed black hair sprawled across her shoulder. Harry tilted his head to the side, then gasped.

"You were the one! From the train!" Harry whisper-yelled. He stared at the couple in shock.

"Wait, I thought you knew it was! You didn't?" Pansy questioned in surprise.

"No...? I recognized Hermione, not the other girl," Harry stated simply. Pansy fumed.

"Draco, I swear to fucking Merlin I'm going to-" Pansy coughed, "Good day, I have a body to bury." Pansy began to walk away.

"Wait! Pansy! Sorry, Harry, I have to go save lives!" Hermione waved back at him as she ran after Pansy. Harry chuckled and saluted her. Harry waited until they were out of sight and continued to breakfast.

The day was slow yet fast, Harry noticed. He was bored out of his mind and yet the time till the moon seemed to draw nearer at a furious speed. Harry dreaded every time he looked at the clock.

At six he headed to quidditch. He carried his Firebolt over his shoulder to the field. There was a cool breeze and a beautiful sunset. Harry sighed at the fact such a pretty evening will be ruined by the full moon.

"He practiced with the team until seven-thirty, and the team decided to eat dinner. Harry stayed behind and showered. He enjoyed the brief distraction from what was going to happen in a little bit. He changed into a comfortable shirt and pants, not caring about anyone seeing since they were at dinner. Harry drank Hermione's potion before leaving for the locker room.

He sighed and began to walk to the secret passage that led to the shrieking shack.
