The scientists wasted no time in opening up her brain, taking a look inside and compiling all the information they needed. Jemma Simmons was the lead biologist who examined Y/N's brain and the one who would figure it all out.

After a few hours of blinding white lights Jemma Simmons bought her conclusion to Leopold Fitz. Her co-worker, best friend and soulmate. Together they would study the findings, write a report and bring the final information to Coulson. They presented Coulson and Maria Hill with a tan folder with white recycled paper bunched inside. Scans, written reports and photos littered the folder which they dropped to the table.

The two soulmates waited a moment, composing themselves, before they both began to speak over each other.

"... She's inhuman, but not biologically" was the last thing blurted out by Jemma Simmons before Coulson put a stop to their blabbering.

"What is she... In English, please" He looked to Maria Hill with a slight "white person" smile.

Jemma and Fitz looked to each other, once again, before he nodded and Jemma spoke.

"Sir, it's hard to explain... you see... We looked in her brain and found nothing off, until Fitz pointed out that the hippocampus in the temporal lobe was larger than the others..." She began. The other two higher Agents of Shield listening intensely.

She stopped her story and cut to the point when she noticed Coulson and Maria hill starting to become confused "We believe she has a form of photographic memory."

Coulson tilted his head. "Photographic memory?" He questioned.

Fitz took the lead as he spoke. "Yes, but not really... It's like she can photographically remember movement... Like how animals learn to hunt from watching their parents hunt prey and then doing it themselves... But instead, she is able to see it once and perform it perfectly after. Look." He spoke with confidence before grabbing the tablet from Coulson's desk and working with the holograms to bring up the CCTV footage of Y/N in the fake containment area.

"Notice how her moves perfectly resemble other avengers? We just don't know how" The clip showed Y/N kicking the shield up from the floor and the Black Widow head-elbow move. He then bought up a side-by-side comparison and once he had shown all the evidence. Leopold Fitz threw his arms in the air before placing his hands on the back of his head, stressed.

Coulson and Agent Hill watched, listened and nodded along before looking to Simmons. "If this is the case, If it isn't biologically, then how?"

Fitz looked to Jemma; Jemma looked to Fitz.

"We saw no traces of inhuman blood in her. At all... Meaning she could be manufactured or even worse, made by..."

"Hydra." Coulson finished her sentence for her. He shook his head before pacing around the room a little, thinking.

"So, what are your suggestions?" He asked, not sure of what to do himself.

The two scientists paused again, looking down before Jemma spoke. "You won't like it, I certainly don't but Fitz thinks it's the only way to find out..."

Coulson nudged them along with a move of his wrists, as they had paused. "We could put her inside the Theta Brain-Wave Frequency Machine, uncover her memories in her subconscious. I think that would uncover more..."

Coulson nodded immediately, no hesitation. "If she can copy our every move, analyse us, know our next steps. She's a major threat. We need to understand this, figure out if she is an actual threat. If this is manufactured by Hydra, they're evolving."

The room cleared out and Y/N was moved to the room named "Tahiti" where Coulson's key card alone was used to enter. Y/N was placed into the machine and it was turned on.

They sifted through her mind like a child on Christmas morning looking for the biggest present. What they would find would be nothing like they had seen before.

Y/N's eyes shot open as the machine turned on and mumbles of "Please Stop" Would chant from her mouth, increasing in volume as they watched a screen showing her memories.

After 30 minutes, they stopped. Y/N had shown since of distress which could lead to serious outcomes so they turned the machine off.

The findings?

They saw Y/N with her parents, they then saw that tare away to her brain undergoing a surgery. A surgery which looked exactly the same as Coulson's memory transplant? Instead of Fury and shield doctors; Hydra and Daniel Whitehall. The pain also seemed 100x worse than the Shield "Tahiti" Project. It showed the aftermath of the initial surgery, which would lead to the memory transplant, but what happened before?

They dug further and found that Y/N, at 4 years old, had been kidnapped from her house, her sister begging for her to be taken instead and experimented on by Daniel Whitehall.

Why she was targeted? They didn't know... Yet.

Whilst Y/N laid sedated heavily in a white hospital bed in the science lab. Coulson and Maria Hill would call in Daisy Johnson. They needed advice; they didn't understand Inhumans the way she did.

They would spend days discussing what to do with Y/N and in the end, they chose to tell her the truth.

Daisy bet it would go well, Coulson bet Y/N would set the place on fire. Who would be right?

A/N: 441 Views!!! This is insane. Thank you to those who voted. I thought I would give the character some backstory. As you can tell I stuck to the new Black Widow story line, but obviously this is before any of that happened so everyone is unaware. I also included some Agents of Shield characters, I hope that's okay. Next, will include her getting to know herself and possibly a mission? Who knows? tehe
