Pokemon Platinum Nuzlocke

Veilstone City Gym

I exit the gym and decide I'm done with Nosepass. Time to gain a level at Mnt. Cornet. He did it! He evolved into a Probopass! This is by far the funniest pokemon I've ever had lol.

Now time to move on, oop there's Barry. Time to battle!

He starts the battle with Staravia, and I start with Shoelaces! Nope, not a good match. I switch to Snake because he can tank hits and I want to see what he can do now! He uses rock throw and almost takes out Staravia. So I do it again. Kill one bird with two stones.

Next is his Buizel so I switch to Bastrid. One Spark and his Buizel is done. Grotle is sent out next so I switch to Jesus Crig. I confuse his grass turt and hit it with Jesus Crig's wings twice then BAM! One pokemon left to go! His last pokemon is Ponyta and only Chunch Bag can take him out. I send out Chunch and the Ponyta goes down to one Aqua Jet. Bingo Bongo Berry is a loser!

So, while exploring a bit, I find a girl who gives me an Eevee! This is incredibly helpful so thank you! I'll check which Eeveelution is best before making my choice as to which I want. Since I'm in the Sinnoh region I am more interested in Leafeon or Glaceon but I might pick different ones.

OH! And I named the Eevee, Lint. Just kidding. My brother-in-law named him for me. Lint is his name tho. And by the time I'm writing this, I have decided which form I'll evolve it into. Comment what you think it'll be and see if you're right!

Alright! I'm on route 209! Let's see what pokemon I find! A ralts! I found a ralts! IT TELEPORTED AWAY WHILE I WAS TRYING TO MAKE IT FALL ASLEEP! YOU FRICKIN FRICK!

I make it to some town but Barry rushes to me and so I don't get to the card that tells me the name of the place. How rude... I'm gonna make him pa- SEALS? LIKE THE THINGS YOU PUT ON POKEBALLS FOR FANCY OPENINGS? SIGN ME UP! I JUST LOOKED IT UP AND I CAN GET THEM AT THE RUINS SO LET'S GO!

Anyway, I'm on Route 210 and I'm searching for my encounter! A Ponyta! Let's put it to sleep and catch it! BAM! GOT HER! I named her Rabies.

BAM! Made it to the ruins and I found an Unown! It's the R unown. His name is Pirate. BAM got the Seal Case! Let's go apply them! Shoelaces has hearts appear when I send him out.

On route 215, I encounter a Marill and, after catching her, name her Bub Trub. And oh? What? Bastrid is evolving! She's a Luxray! A powerhouse! Let's go!

I finished training so now let's take on these Team Galatic Members. Oh, I'm in Veilstone City. Did I mention that?

I run to the grunts and they're like, "Bro? You like... can't go there?" and pushed me back.

Well guess I'll take on the gym now. Wait, just got there and Dawn and WOAH WOAH WHAT?? THIS IS THE WATER TYPE GYM?? I WAS THINKING THIS WAS THE FIGHTING TYPE GYM?? Oh okay nevermind. The water type gym leader is just visiting. That's all good then. Anyway, gym time.

I will say that it's very funny watching all these big buff pokemon get taken out by my floating plate lol. But after defeating all the gym trainers and eating a rare candy, Plate evolved into a Bronzong. The team is ready... time for gym battle!

Wait... crap this puzzle has always confused me. I never get it right...

BAM! Got it! I always get confused as to which punching bags to slide when and where so I'm glad I did it.

Time for Maylene.

She starts with Meditite and I start with Plate. I'm glad we're starting with a slight challenge. Meditite uses Drain Punch but does little damage and get confused by Plate's confuse ray. I then use Extrasensory on Meditite but i think I should use Iron Defense instead. Never mind Meditite is dead so let's stick to the offesnsive strats.

Next is Lucario so this is interesting. I switch to Jesus Crig  and use Air Cutter which scratches Lucario. He does a lot more than scratch Jesus Crig tho. Both Lucario and Jesus Crig are in the yellow at this point and I'm getting worried. I take a risk and use Confuse Ray which lands but Lucario attacks anyway. Luckily, Jesus Crig surives so I switch back to Plate who takes out the Lucario but with barely any HP left.

Finally is her Machoke so I take another risk and send out Shoelaces. Shoelaces uses Psybeam and does decent damage and also confuses the Machoke!  Sadly the Machoke uses Rock Tomb and takes him down to the yellow anyways. I then use Moonlight to heal Shoelaces back up but Machoke manages to use Rock Tomb again. I use Moonlight and Machoke uses Rock Tomb again but this time does less damage so I use Psybeam and am so close to taking this Machoke out. Moonlight heals again and rock tomb hits hard. Moonlight heals and Rock Tomb hurts. Moonlight heals and Rock Tomb... misses! Psybeam hits and Machoke goes down!

We did it! Shoelaces pulled through and we won the Cobble Badge!!!
