Story #3: Them

Since Byakuya Togami and Leah Kayama had been wonderful friends for the past week or so, students of Class 78 started to wonder if they were just friends.

Kayama's best friend ever, Noria, had even started to suspect that they were dating.

Now, it seemed as if their free days weren't complete without each other. Togami had started to loosen up, running down staircases with Kayama, sitting on library tables, and being a bit crazy. All with her.

As for Kayama, she loved running down the stairs with Togami. Even though it's "platonic", she enjoyed the feel of his hand on hers; making sure that neither of them fell. 

Group Chat: The Three Tiers of "Class"

Noria: Started dating yet?
Kayama: Nope. Thinking I'm gonna ask him the next time we're fooling around, though.

Noria: And when will that be?
Kayama: In a few minutes.

Noria: Welp, then I'll get going. Tell me what he says!

Kayama: I will.

Kayama rushed out of her hiding spot back to where Togami was; sitting on the library table.

Kayama: Quick question.

Togami: Yes?
Kayama: Do you "like" anyone?
Togami: Not Fukawa, I can tell you that much. Or Naegi. Or Kirigiri.

Kayama:  Well, I guess that's good.

Togami: Why would you say that?

Kayama moved closer to Togami, trying to give him a hint.

They didn't have anything "cliche" going on; no painfully blushing, no stuttering, none of it.

Togami: I think I get the point of your question.

Kayama: Well, what do you think the point is?

They sat in silence for a few moments. Togami smiled at Kayama, which she had never really seen before. Kayama got just a bit closer to him, while being pulled into a huge hug.

Kayama: Let me tell you, you might think I'm crazy for this, but let me tell you something.

Togami: Sure.

Kayama: Well, before we came here, I was actually quite interested in your family. I read a 600-page article on it, and, well, I learned a lot.

Togami: Quite interesting, honestly. I never thought that someone who tried proving me wrong on everything and bickered with me about a bunch of things would read the Togami heir article. I skimmed through it once and it was pretty correct.

Kayama: Wow. So you don't think I'm insane.

Togami: No, not really. Is there something else that you needed to say?
Kayama: I developed some sort of "attraction" towards you. I've been good at hiding it, yet, it flies around in my brain.

Togami looked confused, worrying Kayama. Just as her thoughts started racing, he grabbed onto her hand.

Togami: I guess that's that.

Kayama: So, you want to-

Togami: Yeah.

Kayama could've never been happier.

She finally got what she wanted.
