Bonnie POV
"The floor is open," I say
They all opened their mouths, and I said, "One at a time." I say
Elena asked the first question
"What is Klaus's curse?"
Elijah and I look at each other before he walks closer to the fireplace and starts talking
"You know, my family was quite close. Klaus and my father never got along, but that is a story for a different time. When we became vampires, we discovered the truth."
I remembered that day like it was yesterday.
I turned my head and looked away. That day was brutal; I kind of wish he hadn't brought it up.
My action did not go unnoticed. Stefan was staring straight at me.
I decided to step in, "Esther had an affair with a werewolf, and once Mikael found out, he went to their village and slaughtered the man and his family."
The bloody images flooded my mind.
I had to take a deep breath. I never liked talking about the past. So many events have happened in the course of my lifetime.
"That threw us into a war," Elijah said
"A war between who?" Tyler asked
I huff in annoyance, "Were you not just listening to what we said. I swear you all ask the dumbest questions."
Elijah put a hand on my shoulder to calm me down.
"So, what does that make Klaus? A werewolf or a vampire?" Elena asked confused
"Ah, finally a smart question. "I say sarcastically
Elijah gave me an admonishing look, and I sigh and backdown
"He's both a werewolf and a vampire. A hybrid. But he was not the only one of us bound with a curse."
They all looked confused
"Who else is a hybrid?" Stefan asked
"That would be me." I raise my hand
Every jaw in the room dropped
"That's not possible. Katherine turned you back in 1864," Damon said
I laugh, "That was a lie. Well, a cover story, to be exact. I'm actually Katherine's sire. Which means you are in my sire line."
