Bonnie POV

Tonight is the night I break my curse. One thing I completely forgot about is that today is also the night of the homecoming dance. Yay me. I wasn't even going to until Rebekah barged into my apartment with too many dresses to count in hand.

"I'm not going to this stupid homecoming dance, Rebekah," I say, looking at her.

"Don't be silly darling, of course, you are." She says like it's a no brainer

"Rebekah! I'm breaking my curse tonight, and I want to make sure everything will go according to plan."

Rebekah sighs, "I knew you would say that... which is exactly why I got all the parts you need. I have the newly turned vampire, a witch for the sacrifice, and we will get the doppelgänger after the dance. Plus, I called in a favor for a witch to perform the ritual. Now...try this one on." She says, shoving a dress into my hand

I was shocked. Not that she helped, but that she got everything done within a few hours.

I opened my mouth to respond, but she gave me a stern look. There are some things that I refuse to fight Rebekah on. Dances being the main one. For a millennium, she dragged me to and from the most extravagant balls, so I doubt that's going to change anytime soon.

I sigh and put on the slim-fitting dress.

"There, you happy?" I ask sarcastically, giving her a twirl of the dress

Rebekah's eyes lit up like a kid opening a present.

"Oh, Bonnie! You look gorgeous. This is the one. The only thing you need to finish the night out is a piece of arm candy." She says mischievously

I gave her a plain look which she returned with an innocent one

"Let me see your phone. I'm going to take a photograph."

I pull out my phone to hand it to her.

"You know you can just say picture, right?" I asked with a raised eyebrow

"Same difference. Now smile." She moved back to take a full-body picture

I still didn't smile

"Bonnie." She said sternly

"Fine." I let out my best fake smile I ever pulled off

After she took the picture, she clicked a few buttons

"What are you doing?" I ask curiously

I don't care that she's on my phone. I barely even know how to use one. Besides, I don't have any secrets anyway.

"Who's Drew?" She asks, looking at me

Crap

"Drew is a friend," I say carefully

"Bonnie, you don't have friends." She stated

"Fine, I met him at the bar when I was out," I mutter

She was silent, and I sighed

"Look, Rebekah, nothing is going on. I just got out of-"

She waves her hand to cut me off

"Do you really think I care about that? You are my sister Bonnie, and I want you happy. Even if it's with someone other than Nik." She says genuinely
