After the first day of "normal" school, the four of us sit at the dinner table, eating mac 'n cheese. Nobody's speaking right now, and I'm just trying to avoid making eye contact with anyone.

"So, how was school, girls?" Anna asks.

When Anya doesn't answer, they all turn to me expectantly and I just shrug, "Weird."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, they made us pledge allegiance to the American flag, and they gave us breaks between some lessons, where everyone would go outside and just run around screaming for fifteen minutes."

"That's normal." she tells me.

"Oh." I say, "Well, it's still weird."

She laughs lightly, "Well, did you make friends with the girl?"

"Yep." I nod, "And she told me that she goes to dance classes, so..."

Both Anna and Nick smirk, "Did she say where she danced?"

"Nope."

"Oh, I think. There's a dance studio just down the road from the school. Some girls in my class do ballet there." Anya tells us.

"Right, well I think it's about time we sent you two to dance lessons."

So, the very next day, we get picked up, but the second we get home, we have to change into leotards and head off to dance class. When we get there, I see girls milling around with their parents, all waiting for the class to start.

Standing amongst all the girls dressed the same, with their hair in neat buns, and ballet slippers on their feet sends a shiver down the spine. It's like the academy all over again.

"Julia!" I hear a high-pitched voice yell. Both Anya and I spin around to see Aurelia rushing over to us, "I didn't know you did ballet here!"

"My dad just signed us up."
