Shini: So you finally got the message?

She said in slight annoyance but proud.

Y/N: I was I supposed to know she loved me?!
Shini: Dumbass how could you not know! She made it completely obvious!
Y/N: How?
Shini: "I just wish you can love someone that actually loves you back." A quote from like 3 chapters ago.
Y/N: What do you mean Chapter?
Shini: I don't know. Shut up.
Y/N: I-.

I got up from my bed and started getting ready for the day.

Y/N: Wait can you see me?
Shini: Whatever you see, I see. But I'll close my eyes.

I nodded and started changing into my uniform. After words I looked in the mirror then went to brush my hair.

Shini: Can I open my eyes now?
Y/N: Ya.

From the corner of my eye, I saw black smoke appear. Turning around, I saw Shini sitting on my bed.

Shini: It gets so cramped in there.

She said standing up and stretching.

Isabella: Y/N- .... Hello Shini.
Shini: Morning.

She said after stretching her arms out.

Y/N: You need something.
Isabella: I just wanted to inform you that Grandma is going to promote you to a caretaker soon. So you'll be the second mom of the house.

She said with a smile on her face.

Y/N: Really?

I said getting up from my chair. She nodded and I walked over to her.

Y/N: That's great. I never thought I'd become a caretaker.

I smiled and kisses Isabella.

Shini: Hey hey heyy! Stop it you two, I'm getting jealous.

We looked over at her with curios faces.

Y/N: Oh~ Someone can't find a lover~?

I teased.

Shini: No its not that.
Isabella: Then why?
Shini: Well despite being like a "Love god" or something, I'm not allowed to have a lover.
Isabella: Then how does your kind still exist?
Y/N: Ya, or is there like a different way to have babies in your kind?
Shini: Baby making is still the same. But only when you're over 100 is when you can find a lover. Its forbidden if you're under 100, I can only date my kind, and I'm not allowed to date a human.

Shini sighed.

Y/N: How long do "Love Gods" live for?
Shini: Roughly 500 years.

I widened my eyes a bit.

Y/N: So when Isabella and I are gone, you'll still be roaming the Earth?
Shini: Yup.
Isabella: Then how old are you?
Shini: I'm actually 15.

She chuckled a bit in awkwardness.

Shini: This is my first year matching people.
Y/N: Only 15?!
Isabella: So you're younger then us? Or is age different for you?
Shini: Nope. Age is the same just as humans for us. Except once I turn 25, then that's gonna be what I look like for the rest of my life.

She sat on my bed.

Isabella: They're is a lot we don't know about you, and the "Love Gods". Huh?
Shini: A lot. Just like how the only way I can be free from all of this is to unlock my soul.

She got up again and placed a hand where her heart was.

Shini: To you guys, I'm mainly just a shadow figure or something. But inside theirs a 15 year old girl, waiting to be set free. I believe I'm able to turn into that form, but only for a quick second.
Isabella: Where would the key be?
Y/N: And what does you're true form look like?
Shini: One question at a time!

We laughed a bit. Then Shini made direct eye contact with me and looked at Isabella after.

Shini: The key is inside my heart.
Isabella: So that's why you can't get to it.
Shini: That and I can't open it myself. Someone has to open it for me.

We stayed quiet for a second.

Y/N: I'll do it.
Shini: What?
Y/N: I'll open the lock.
Isabella: I agree. You're the one that brought us together. Its the least we can do.
Shini: No its really not a simple task-
Y/N: Its fine.
Shini: I'm serious-
Isabella: So how do we do this?

Shini sighed and the morning bells rang.

Shini: Looks like you guys have to go.
Y/N: No just explain really quick.
Shini: It would have to be done later in the year. Even then I don't think I'd be able to get to you.
Isabella: Ok but how?

Shini stayed quiet for a second.

Shini: Are you guys serious? You guys would help me?

We could hear Shini try not to cry.

Y/N: Of course.
Shini: O- ok.

She wiped a tear away from her eyes.

Shini: You guys would have to kill me though. So I'm just saying now. Its a fifty-fifty chance.
Isabella: Is there a specific weapon we use?
Shini: Ya. Its called a Mereum Dagger. I'll provide it.

Isabella and I smiled at each other.

Shini: T- thank you..I really mean it.

I went in and hugged Shini. She hugged back and I could feel tears against my shoulder.

Y/N: Were here for you. You helped up, so we'll help you.

I released her from the hug and went back to stand next to Isabella.

Shini: You guys s- should start you're morning. I'll come back later.

A poof of black smoke appeared and I looked at Isabella. She gave a warm smile and nodded. I did the same, gesturing that we should go downstairs.
