...Mom?...

I was in the kitchen at around 10 o'clock, looking through the ingredients for tomorrow. After I was finished, I sighed and went to Isabella's office. Looking for a pen for a idea of a drawing I had in mind.
Isabella wasn't in her office, and I tilted my head in confusion.
Wonder where she's at.

I got to her desk and took a pen from one of the pencil holders. That's when from the corner of my eye, I saw black smoke appear.

Shini: Heyy!

I jumped a bit from the unexpected appearance of Shini's shadowy figure.

Y/N: Ah, you scared me.

I sighed.

Shini: What's your dumbass doing here?
Y/N: Getting a pen for a drawing.
Shini: Oh.

She sat on a table and looked at me. That's when I heard Isabella come into her office with such excitement on her face.

Isabella: Oh Y/N! There you are.

She smiled.

Isabella: Hi Shini.

Shini waved at her and Isabella smiled. Then looked at me.

Y/N: What's got you so happy?
Isabella: Well..I spoke to Grandma about our relationship, and she informed me that you're getting promoted to second caretaker!

My face lit up a bit and I brightly smiled at her.

Y/N: So I'll be a mom too?

She nodded, gesturing yes.

Y/N: Wait...what's the kids gonna think about this? They don't know about our relationship.

She thought about it for a second.

Isabella: I mean, if they understand. Then they understand. I don't expect the younger ones to understand, although the older kids might get the idea.
Y/N: So this would basically be our way of coming out to them.
Shini: You guys really didn't tell them?
Isabella: I didn't think it would be professional.
Y/N: Ya and it wasn't really necessary.
Isabella: Although since Y/N is getting promoted then I guess we'll have to tell them.

Shini tilted her head a bit, showing she was paying attention.

Y/N: What if you just announce that I got promoted, and see who understands and who doesn't.
Isabella: We can do that.
Shini: Well, you guys can plan that. I'm tired now and I have researching to do in the morning.
Y/N: What kind of research. Maybe I could help.
Shini: Oh..I don't think you'll be able to get information. It's about freeing me.

I sighed I'm disappointment.

Y/N: Well till me what you find.

Shini gave a thumbs up and nodded, then black smoke appeared again. Indicating she teleported.
I turned to Isabella and smiled at her. She smiled back and walked over to her and gave at her a gentle kiss.

Y/N: Ima go to sleep now.
Isabella: Goodnight then.
Y/N: Don't stay up to late darling.

She nodded and I left the room.

*Time Skip*

Isabella: Alright children. Attention!

It was breakfast time and we felt it would be a good time to announce my promotion.

Isabella: Y/N recently got promoted to a second caretaker of this household.
Child: So we call her mom too?
Isabella: Precisely.
Child: She's like a second mom!

The child said with an excited look on her face. They cheered at the announcement and I looked over at the older kids.
Emma was cheering and Ray put a finger on his chin. Norman was clapping his hands with a small smile on his face. That's when Ray's eyes widened and he looked at Isabella and me in realization.
He whispered something to Norman and he widened his eyes a bit in realization as well. Feeling kinda dumb not getting it before. Emma looked at them in confusion still not understanding.
That's when I heard.

Ray: Just think about it.
Norman: Second mom.

Emma put her finger on her chin and thought hard about it. That's when Isabella came up to me.

Isabella: They seem pretty excited.
Y/N: I have a feeling Ray is gonna confront us about it.

I awkwardly laughed.

Emma: Wait a minute?!

She finally realized it. I looked at Isabella and in unison we both awkwardly laughed.

*Another Time Skip*

Ray: And you didn't tell me?
Isabella: I didn't think it was necessary.
Ray: You didn't think it was necessary?! I missed out of on gossip because it wasn't necessarily?!

I awkwardly chuckled yet again.
