(Y/N's Pov)

As we only waited patiently for Shini to give the word that the escaped children were going to be arriving soon, I analyzed Isabella as she was looking at security cameras.
I smiled a bit and spoke.

Y/N: Wonder when they're gonna get here.
Isabella: Its likely to be soon.
Y/N: Darling?
Isabella: Hmm?
Y/N: What do you think well happen when we get our freedom? As grandma says at least.

She thought about it for a second.

Isabella: Who knows. Its a mystery really.

I smiled a bit.

As a poof of black smoke appeared, Shini also appeared.

Y/N: Any news?
Shini: The kids are heading here now.
Isabella: Good.

I nodded and stood up straight. (Even tho I'm not AHEM)

Y/N: We should start preparing.
Isabella: Yes, we should.

As all the lights were shut down, the chip in our hearts were too. I took Isabella's hand so I knew where she was. The back up lights turned on and I sighed I'm relief.

Isabella: Y/N are you scared of the dark?

She chuckled a bit and looked at me in adoration.

Y/N: Of course not. I just didn't want to lose you to the darkness.

I awkwardly smiled, and she sighed.

Isabella: If you say so.
Shini: Hey.

We looked over at Shini and she looked at us with a suspicious look.

Y/N: Something wrong?
Shini: No. The lights went out, I just wanted to check on you two just in case you were making out or some shit.

Isabella and I blushed a bit from surprise.

Y/N: And if we were, why would you be snooping!
Shini: Really?! You wanna know why I would stop you guys while the plan we were planning for weeks is in action?!

I chuckled a bit.

Shini: Dumbass.

She kinda whispered, bit loud for us to hear. I saw Isabella side eye me with a small smile on her face.

After some time past, we heard children outside the room we were in.

Isabella: They're hear.
Y/N: Ready?

She took a deep breath.

Isabella: I don't know if I can face them.
Y/N: Don't worry about it.

I grabbed her hand to show her comfort, then looked into her eyes.

Y/N: Lets just go out there, be total badasses, and take our freedom.

I smiled and she chuckled a bit. I lightly kissed her.

Shini: Really? Now of all times?

We both chuckled a bit.

Shini: Hurry up and get out there!
Y/N: Ok ok.

We both waited a bit at the door, with Shini right behind us.
Finally we walked through the door to face the children. With Isabella doing all the talking, I was behind her. Holding my gun like a total badass.

I followed Isabella down the stairs and took the children's side. Of course.

Ratri: Don't test me! I'll kill the both of you traitors!
Shini: Y/N?

As I stood beside Isabella, I knew what Shini was asking me. She wanted permission to kill the man.

Y/N's Thoughts: Don't.
Shini: Fine. But if its this goes to far, then I'll kill him.

*Another Time Skip to more interesting parts*

As we watched Ratri dramatically kill himself, that's when we realized this was almost all over. I took Isabella's hand and watched the blood puddle grow.

I let go of Isabella's hand to examine the body. Leaving her to discuss with the children.
That's when a poof of black smoke appeared, and Shini was behind me.

Shini: Damn. That's a lot of blood.
Y/N: No shit.

I poked at the dead body. Shini then examined the things he had in his pockets.

Y/N: Shini leave the stuff alone.

She stayed silent and picked up some unique bullets.

Shini: Y/N..you know what this is?
Y/N: No what is it?
Shini: It's a bullet to kill a shinigami.
Y/N: Why would he have that?

I thought for a second.

Y/N: Unless he knew you were around...
Shini: That's impossible. I was never out in the open.
Y/N: Maybe he knew you were hear, and made his own plan.
Shini: That's crazy talk.

She sighed and dropped the bullets.

Isabella: Y/N! Shini! Come on!
Y/N: Alright!

I looked at Shini and gestured to follow. Later we arrived at the gate to the human world.

Ray: Um are we not gonna talk about this weird...demon standing here.
Shini: Listen kid, I'm no demon. Ok? I'm a shinigami. There's a difference.
Y/N: Shini stop arguing.
Shini: Ray started it.
Ray: How do you know my name?

Norman: I'm opening the door!

I stood next to Shini and Isabella, holding both there hands. Waiting patiently as the doors opened. Finally the door opened, and we all started making our way through. Shini let go of my hand and I looked back at her in confusion.

Y/N: What are you doing?

She took a step back and smiled.

Shini: It was good knowing you two.

Isabella side eyes me with kinda worried eyes.

Y/N: What do you mean? I have to set you free remember.
Shini: Not out there. A lot can happen once I step through these doors.
Y/N: Then I'll set you free here.

I walked back inside and Shini took a step back. With kinda worried eyes.

Shini: Its not necessarily-
Y/N: Shini. Shut up.
Shini: I-

She rolled her eyes.

Shini: Fine.
Y/N: Alright so what exactly am I supposed to do.
Shini: You take this dagger and place it through my heart. Remember you only have approximately 5 minutes to do this. Basically, once you see my soul, you have to take her hand.
Y/N: How do I know whay your soul looks like?
Shini: You'll know.

She handed me a dagger and placed a finger on her heart.

Y/N: Alright.

I took the dagger and prepared myself. That's when we heard loud footsteps, and loud panting.

???: Wait!! That's not the real Shini!
Shini: What?
