The accident

Chapter 2

Today was the day we were moving to California, probably the last time I will ever see Shannon and Toby in person.

"I can't believe today you're leaving" Shannon said as i grabbed a bag to use as my hand luggage, "me neither, you promise you will come visit me though?" I said, "of course we will visit you!" Toby finally spoke up. Shannon and Andy were both being very quiet, they were happy for me at first but I think it's finally hit them that I will be on the other side of the world with a different timezone to them. I finished packing my hand luggage then we all made our way downstairs.

I stopped once I got to the bottom and looked around, my house was so empty since all our stuff was taken already to California. "Are you alright Chlo?" Shannon asked, I took a deep breath then turned around to face them both, "yeah" I said with a smile, "Chloe we have to leave now" my dad shouted from outside.

We all made our way outside and I could feel tears start filling my eyes. "Right, this isn't the end, we will meet again soon" I said as I wiped the few tears away which had escaped my eye, "Promise?" I said then held out my pinkie finger, "Promise" they both said in unison and we all connected pinkies. "I love you two so much" I said then pulled them both in for a group hug. As we pulled away I saw tears in Shannon's eyes, "don't cry" I said then gave her a quick hug before turning to Toby, "Don't be going out and getting boyfriends in California" Toby joked, "don't worry you're the only man I need in my life" I said then we all laughed, "Chloe!" My dad shouted in annoyance from the car. We all group hugged one more time then I headed towards the car. "I love you two so much, I will text you as soon as I get to Cali" I shouted, "We love you too, have fun" Shannon shouted back then I got into the car. As my dad pulled out of the drive I could see Shannon and Toby waving so I gave them a quick wave back.

The car ride to Heathrow airport was going to take about 3 hours so I got out my earplugs and listened to some music until I fell asleep.

"Chloe were here!" I heard someone say excitedly, I slowly opened my eyes and saw my mum smiling at me from her seat, I groaned then shut my eyes again. Suddenly the car door next to me opened, "come on sleepyhead we have a plane to catch" my dad said. I took out my earplugs and put them in my bag with my phone. My dad handed me my suitcase then we made our way into the airport.

We handed in our suitcases and went through security. We had about 25 minutes before we could get on the plane so I decided to buy some sweets and magazines for the journey. I walked around until I found a shop which wasn't too expensive. I brought two magazines, Haribos and a bottle of water then made my way back to my family.

"You excited?" My mum asked us as I took a seat next to Harrison, "yes!" Ellie screeched, "what about you Chloe?" My mum asked, all I did was shrug my shoulders. "Harrison, did you talk to Nicole?" I asked, "yeah, we're going to try and have a long distance relationship" he said with a smile, "oh good" I said then smiled back.

Our flight was finally announced so we stood up and made our way towards the entrance. We went through passport check and soon enough we were onboard. "Oh Chloe your seat is over there by the window" my dad said, great so now I have to sit away from my family with complete strangers. I took a seat next to the window and got out my phone and earplugs. I was about to put them in when a boy with brown, slightly curly hair and these amazing hazel brown eyes, stood by the chair next to me, "sorry is this seat taken?" He asked in an American accent, "no no, you can sit there" I said then put one earplug in. "I'm Cameron, Cameron Dallas" the boy said once he had sat down and held out his hand, "Nice to meet you Cameron, I'm Chloe Robinson" I said then shook his hand, "Chloe, that's a beautiful name" he said with a smile, I started to blush so I looked out the window, "So are you going to California for vacation or?" Cameron asked, "no, my dad just got a job out there so we're moving there" I said, "oh cool, whereabouts?" He asked still smiling, God his smile was beautiful, "I'm not actually sure" I giggled, "Oh okay" he chuckled, "did you like London?" I asked, "how did you know I was only visiting?" He asked while grinning, "Well it is kind of obvious since you have an American accent" I giggled, "London was amazing, I love your accent by the way" he chuckled, "why thank you" I said in a posh accent then giggled.

The flight wasn't too bad after all, Cameron and I talked and laughed the whole way which took the fact that I may never see my best friends again out of my mind for a bit. "It was lovely meeting you Chloe" Cameron said as we walked off of the plane, "you too Cameron" I said then shook his hand again before we went our separate ways.

I found my family waiting by the suitcase collection bit. "I can't believe we're actually here" Ellie said excitedly then put her sunglasses on top of her head. We collected our suitcases then made our way out of the airport. The sun was shining so bright and it was extremely hot, which was so different to British weather. My dad got us an uber since our car was at our new house. We put our suitcases in the back of the car and got in, then we made our way to our new house.
