The accident

Chapter 7

I got up bright and early, had a quick shower then got changed into a pair of white denim shorts and a black short sleeved crop top. As soon as I was dressed I dried my hair then straitened it and left it loose, I then started on my makeup. I didn't feel like wearing a lot of makeup so I just put on a little bit of foundation and mascara.

Once I was ready I grabbed my phone then headed downstairs to the kitchen to make some breakfast. I decided to make myself some toast. I put the bread in the toaster then got out the Nutella spread to put on it once it was ready. Once my toast was done I sat down on the living room sofa and checked my phone, still no text from Cameron, only one from Shannon.

Shannon- How did last night go?

I texted back straight away.

Me- It was really good up until we kissed and then he started acting strange.

I only had to wait a few minutes for her to reply.

Shannon- YOU KISSED! Does that mean your dating?

Me- We're not dating, I don't even think he likes me anymore, I haven't heard from him since he left.

Shannon- Maybe he likes you so much that he gets nervous around you?

Me- Hmm maybe? Anyway I'm going shopping now, talk to you soon.

I locked my phone then had the last bite of my toast, then walked back into the kitchen to put my plate in the sink. "You ready to do some shopping?" my mum asked as she entered the kitchen, "yep" I replied, "let's go then" she said then grabbed the car keys and we both headed out the door and got into the car. We then drove to the nearest shopping mall which was about 15 minutes away.

"Okay, what shop do you want to go to first?" She asked as we entered the mall, "Forever 21" I said quickly then we headed towards Forever 21. I found a few nice clothes in there but nothing to wear for Kian's. I tried on my clothes that I chose then went and paid for them at the till. "Can we go into TopShop?" I asked as we walked out of Forever 21, "sure" she said so we walked to TopShop. I found a short, plain white strapless dress which would go nicely with my blonde hair. I picked out my size then headed over to the fitting rooms to try it on. I quickly got undressed then slipped it on and looked in the mirror, it fitted perfectly. I unlocked my door to show my mum. "It looks lovely" my mum said with a smile on her face, "thanks, I think I'm going to get this one" I said then shut my door again to get changed into my normal clothes. Once I was dressed again I walked over to the till to pay for the dress.

"Shall we get some lunch now?" My mum asked since it was nearly half 1, "sure" I said then we went to find the nearest Taco Bell. "Okay what else do you need to buy?" my mum asked as we sat down at the nearest table, "Shoes and a clutch bag" I said then took a bite into my food.

Once we finished lunch we went straight back to shopping. The next shop we went to was Dorothy Perkins. I found a pair of really nice plain black shiny heels which would go perfectly with my dress, I quickly found my size then walked over to the bags. There was also a plain, shiny black clutch bag which would go so well with my outfit, so I picked up one of them and had a quick look around at the clothes. Once I was done I payed for my things then we walked out of the shop.

"I think we should go to Victoria's Secret" my mum said jokingly, "mum" I giggled, but we went there anyway. I picked out some cute matching underwear and bras and a PINK Bikini. We payed for our things then decided to go Starbucks to get a drink. I ordered a Caramel and Coffee Frappe, and my mum ordered a Chocolate Cream Frappe. Once we got our drinks we sat down at a table to drink them. "So how are you and Cameron?" She asked while grinning, "I don't know, he hasn't spoke to me since he left yesterday" I said, "oh, boys are strange" she said which made me giggle. We quickly finished our drinks then did some more shopping before we decided it was time to head home.

As soon as we got home I went straight up to my room to put all my new clothes away. I kept checking my phone every once in a while to see if he had texted me but he hadn't. Once everything was put away I got changed into my pyjamas, took my makeup off and sat on my bed staring anxiously at my phone screen, why wasn't he speaking to me? Is he annoyed at me? Is he waiting for me to make the first move? I shouldn't text him first, he should text me first, I will just have to wait until tomorrow. "Chloe dinners ready!" My dad shouted up the stairs. I quickly hopped off my bed and put my fluffy socks on then ran downstairs to the dining room. My dad had ordered pizza, I wasn't very hungry so I took a slice and quickly ate it. I went to walk back up to my room but my mum stopped me. "Aren't you having anymore?" She asked, "I'm not hungry" I said, she looked a little disappointed but I just quickly ran up the stairs.

I decided to go to bed since I wasn't going to get a text from Cameron any time soon. I put my phone on charge then got into bed and fell straight to sleep.
