Chapter 3-

I wake up with a deep breath in a car. The blood on my head and cheek is dried up now. I have just woken from my message to Liam, telling him I love him and where I am. But he's too late. Steve, the Romanian in charge of me, sits beside me and says-
"Good Morning sunshine" Sarcastically, before lifting me up to observe where we are.

Unfortunately, we are in a completely different country; Paris. Luckily, I left a message for my family telling them I am here, so they won't be far behind.

We stop outside the Louvre museum and them push me out of the car. They shove me every five seconds until we are through the doors, down some steps and into an underground room where no one will find us. Steve rams me into a chair and ties me up with my hands behind the back.

Then, with no surprise, the worst person in the entire history of time comes to greet me; Vladimir. His ash blonde hair hangs over his massive forehead. He wears his classic black clothes that look like they could have been plucked out from a rubbish bin outside a charity shop. I once told him that, I got a punch for it. Right now, as he pulls up a chair opposite me, I think about that time, and snigger to myself.

"Okay, let's make this nice and simple," He asks me, for the millionth time, "Where is the crown?"

You must be wondering what the heck he is talking about, so let me put some information in. Vladimir is talking about the crown that is owned, currently, to my father. The crown that is placed upon the head of the leader of the Vampire race at a coronation, and I am next in line so somehow, he thinks I know where it is, which I don't.

"I told you already, I DON'T KNOW! And I'll never tell you!" I yell in his face, before spitting at him. He wipes it away from his face slowly. He inches his chair closer to me.

"Okay, let's try again," He puts his hand to my throat, "Where is the crown?" I can hardly speak, but I manage to,

"I told you already okay! I don't know! My father doesn't tell me things. Even though I am next in line, it still belongs to him. And even if I did know where it was, I would never tell you." He gives me a dirty look before letting go of my neck. I breath heavily, getting my breath back before looking at him. He gives Steve "The look", I shake my head and look at Steve worriedly before he knocks me out.

I manage to get into the right state of mind to contact my family and send them a message. I stop Liam from running through some sort of forest near Romania, which seems like they got my note, and have only just set off. I casually lean against a tree whilst Liam zooms past before suddenly stopping when he spots me. All of my family see me and slow down to a stop, where they all stare at me for a couple of seconds. Liam rushes over and checks if I'm okay from before, with my head.

"Don't worry about me, I'm fine." I walk over to the middle of my family, so they are all surrounding me in a circle. "Hi guys, I've missed you all so much! I don't have very long so I'm going to just cut to the chase. Currently, I am in the Louvre Museum in Paris unconscious after Vladimir knocked me out because I don't know where the crown is."
"The crown?" Liam asks.

"Dad will explain later. Anyway, I am at the Louvre and as soon as I find out where I am going or if I'm staying, I'll leave a clue." I start feeling myself waking up, "I only have a few seconds left, I love you all."

That's when I wake up. In the chair, still tied up. My head pounds and my ears ring, causing me to not hear very much being talked about in the room, but they soon stop when they realise I am awake. I suddenly get the taste of cold fish in my mouth.
I open my eyes to see a blurry Steve feeding me some sort of pink Pate. I lean back and refuse to eat.
"Come on, you have to eat something." He says, sighing.

"Well, I'm not eating that crap," I reply, "Can't you ask Stefan if I can have a walk around? My legs are killing me."

He comes back moments later and starts to untie me. once he has, I rub my wrists that are red from the rope, and sore from battling out of them. I stand up and stretch my legs. Steve let's me walk around the Louvre to study some paintings, as I'll probably never get this chance again, and of course accompanies me. We stop in front of the Mona Lisa, the most famous painting here.

He suddenly hears something fall in the distance (Little does he know I caused that little drop of the glass) and walks off to check it out, telling me to stay where I am. Of course I do, I never break my word. Sitting in front of the Mona Lisa, I pull out a napkin that I stole from Steve when he had that awful pate, and I pull out a pen, which a stole from the Palace in Romania. I quickly write what I overheard when I woke up.

Even though my ears were ringing, I still managed to hear the whispers of Vladimir and Stefan talking about the Plaza Mayor in Spain, which is one of my favourite places to go. I quickly write it on the napkin, stand up, take the Mona Lisa down, and hide the note behind it. I sit down when Steve comes around the corner, before he leads me back underground.

Everything is packed away, and we are ready to go to Spain. They won't knock me out, that's why I left the note. As we walk by the famous painting, I look at it with desire, hoping one of my family members will find the note. But Stefan catches me staring at it, and I look away abruptly. The Romanains are catching onto me, looks like I'll have to hide the next note more secretly...
