Marinette closed the door behind her, and fumbled with the lock for a second until it twisted. She looked around the bathroom for a minute and saw just how rich Adrien was. He had double sinks with huge warm white lights next to the two mirrors. There was a glass door to her right which led to a walk-in rain shower and bathtub which was tiled with marble.

She opened the glass door then went to the mirror to look at herself and let out a small gag. She thought she looked disgusting; her hair was all tangled and unbrushed, the makeup she put on was now half wiped off, she felt sticky and sweaty and she knew a shower was necessary now.

"How does he still look so good," she whispered quietly to herself. It wasn't a lie though. After spending the whole afternoon and night with her, he looked like he just walked out of a modeling photoshoot. He was so perfect.

Marinette turned the shower handle to the left and waited for the water to heat up. The pressure of the water felt like a massage for her back and the temperature was perfect. She then looked to her right, then left, then right again for any kind of body wash. She picked up a bottle that looked like body wash and squeezed out a small glob that landed on her hand. She rubbed her two hands together, bubbles forming, and rubbed her hands over her body.

She felt so much cleaner and more refreshed now and turned the handle right, forcing the water to stop pouring down on her. She picked up the towel that was on the counter for her and dried her body and hair off before putting on the t-shirt Adrien lent to her. Because she was short, the shirt hit her mid thigh. She put on the shorts she was wearing before and finally left the bathroom.

"My God I thought you fell in the shower," Adrien said, chuckling.

"Oh shut up I wasn't even in there for long," she responded, throwing the towel that was wrapped around her head at him. He caught the towel just before it would've hit him and threw it on the floor.

"Yeah suree.." he teased and she rolled her eyes in response.

Marinette walked around his room, which appeared to be bigger than her parents' bakery, and put her finger on his desk, dragging it along his things. He crept up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

Marinette reached her hands out and tried resting them on his jaw, but she accidentally poked his face a few times instead. Then she noticed the bottom drawer that was connected to his desk was slightly opened which piqued her curiosity. She bent down to open it fully and saw the familiar black journal which she felt like she gave to him years ago.

"You kept it," she smiled, tracing the outline of the journal.

"Of course I kept it. Why would I not?" he said in response. She was curious as to what he wrote inside so she bent down even more. The oversized shirt was now touching the ground and she was going to pick it up, but was stopped by the sound of his tongue clicking.

"No, you can't read that yet." A grin was growing on his face.

"What? Why not?" She groaned with a frustrated pout on her face.

"Because," he started. "I'm not ready for you to read it. I'm not done."

"Pleeease? Just one page?" She sang, exaggerating the 'e' in please.

"No, you have to be patient."

"Ugh fine. You're so annoying," she laughed, putting the journal back in its place and closing the drawer so it was no longer open.

"I promise. You'll see it one day," he said, sticking out his pinky finger.

"Okay Kitty," she smiled, sticking her pinky out and wrapping it around his. "Promise." They pulled their pinkies away after a few seconds and Adrien decided he was going to wash up.

Now she didn't know what to do. The least awkward thing to do was to go on her phone but it wasn't really helping. The awkwardness got taken over by panic. She was in his room. She was going to sleep in his bed. The thought didn't terrify her as much as she thought it would but she was still stressing. What if he made a move on her or vice versa? What if her parents find out she's been lying to them this whole day about who she was with and who she's going to be with tonight?

Her thoughts immediately came to a close when the bathroom door creaked open and Adrien walked out with his dampened hair. It was a few shades darker now because of the water but his messy hair looked cute.

"Adrien?" She asked, trying to get his attention even though she already had.

"Mhm?" He hummed in response.

"I need you to answer this honestly," she started to say while approaching him. "Did you even like me from the beginning or did you only like me because you knew I was Ladybug?"

"Honestly Princess, I've always loved you. You being Ladybug just took so much weight off my shoulders and that day I gave you my umbrella, I knew you were the one. But Ladybug stopped me from admitting my true feelings for you and I guess that's why I never told you."

Her eyes softened as she heard the words that came out of his mouth and somehow, in between that time, they had gotten so close to each other. So extremely close.

He lifted his hand and cupped her left cheek, caressing it lightly. He leaned in to kiss her and she tilted her head forward, letting their lips collide.

The kiss would've stopped here but it deepened instead. Adrien pushed her towards him and she slid her hands from his fit shoulders up to his neck and finally got them lost in his semi-damp hair. It was just the two of them at this very moment. It seemed like nothing else mattered until..

A knock on the door.

"Are you fucking serious," he whispered while he walked to the door to see who it was. "Wait, hide in the bathroom!" Marinette did what he said and quickly got behind the bathroom doors. She was a little upset that they were interrupted but it wasn't that big of a deal.

"Hello?" She put her ear right up to the door so she could hear to the best of her abilities. "Oh hey. Yeah sorry I'm going to bed now. Thanks for checking up on me." The door closed slowly and Marinette came out when she heard it.

"It was just my bodyguard. He was checking up on me and asked if I needed anything."

"Awh he's a softie," Marinette chuckled. The events of before starting coming back to them and the tension was still there but it wouldn't be the same. Marinette stopped looking into his eyes and just walked around his room when her eye caught the modern clock on the wall. It was now 11:30 and even though that was considered early for her, she was exhausted.

It's almost like he read her mind when he turned off the lights and said, "Come on, let's go to bed now." He motioned her to come to him and she got under the covers, awkwardly, and turned to face him. He was already looking at her first, though.

Marinette saw the outline of his face through the darkness but his green eyes still stood out even in complete blackness.

He ran his hands through her hair and saw the way it lay on the pillow and how her eyes stood out.

"You're so beautiful." He thought he said that in his head but he couldn't help himself from actually telling her. She turned away from him and took a spare pillow and hit him in the face.

"Shut up. You're too sweet sometimes I can't even tell if you're lying. But that's what I love about you."

"Yeah, I love that about me too," he joked which made her chuckle. She turned towards him again and put her head in the nook of his neck and placed her hands on his upper chest, using it as a pillow. He put one arm around her shoulders and they stayed in that position until they both fell asleep.

"I'm so glad it was you," Adrien whispered so extremely faintly that it could've been mistaken for a single breath. But she heard and thought the exact same thing, she was so glad it was him.
