A/N: WOW LOOK WHO'S ACTUALLY UPDATING. I'm am so sorry to keep you waiting! This chapter is really short and terrible but I'm working on it and I wanted you to have SOMETHING. Please comment or message me with suggestions or comments. I would love to hear more opinions from you!

The reading on the TARDIS wasn't right. It would say the TARDIS was close one second, and the next it was nowhere near them. The Doctor could only think of one expanation: The TARDIS was there, but in a different time.

"So what, we're just supposed to wait around for it to show up?" Amy asked incredulously when he told them this. "Rose could be hurt! We can't just wait!"

"Don't you think I know that?" the Doctor said angrily. Amy knew he was just worried about Rose.

Rory tried to change the subject before the Doctor said or did something stupid. "So what should we do?"

The Doctro took a breath, plastered on a fake grin, and said, "We find her through good ole fashioned detective work. Come along, gang."

Amy just rolled her eyes before following him through the city's streets. "Lead the way, Sherlock."

Rose woke up many hours later, a whole new life in her head. One in which she had grown up in the castle, fell in love with the prince, and was going to marry him. She believed her mother died in childbirth and her father was killed in a war. The king had taken her in since her father was in his court and they were friends. She didn't remember her real mother, Earth, or even the Doctor. But, somewhere in the back of her mind, she knew something was wrong.
