Hi readers!

A quick note to say that I will be using some of the Harry Potter books for details as well as the Harry Potter films for details throughout this series - hope this is okay! ☺️

Thank you for reading, and I truly hope you enjoy this chapter! 💛

It was now just three weeks until Chloe would begin her first year at Hogwarts, and the anticipation was building. Today marked an important milestone: the day Chloe and her family set off for Diagon Alley to purchase everything she needed for her upcoming adventures at school.

Chloe spent her morning in her bedroom, preparing for the much-anticipated trip. Her excitement bubbled over as she thought about finally seeing Diagon Alley, a place she had heard about countless times from her parents, who themselves had visited during their own school days at Hogwarts.

Choosing her outfit with care, Chloe decided on high-waisted black jeans paired with a crisp white crop top. To complete her look, she slipped on her white high-top Converse trainers. Once dressed, Chloe straightened her blonde hair and styled it in a half-up, half-down fashion. With her outfit and hairstyle sorted, she finished getting ready by applying her makeup, eager for the day ahead.

While Chloe was applying her makeup, she was interrupted by the sound of someone knocking and entering her bedroom at the same time. She leaned over her makeup station and saw her mother, Sarah, come into the room. They exchanged warm smiles before Chloe resumed finishing her makeup for the day, glancing at her mother, who was leaning casually against the makeup station.

"Are you ready to go?" Sarah asked, her tone gentle.

Chloe looked up, returned her mother's smile, and replied, "Yeah, I am. I just need to apply some lip gloss and that's me done. I'll be downstairs in about five minutes."

Satisfied, Sarah left the room, allowing Chloe to complete her preparations.

Chloe turned her attention back to the mirror, carefully applying lip gloss to her lips. Once done, she spent a few more minutes making sure she was completely ready for the special trip to Diagon Alley.

After final checks, Chloe headed downstairs to the living room, where she found the rest of her family already waiting, eager to set off for Diagon Alley.

Walking over to stand beside Amber, Chloe smiled at her parents and announced, "Now I'm ready." Her parents nodded in approval, taking a final moment to ensure nothing essential for the trip had been forgotten.

While waiting for her parents to gather the last few items, Chloe chatted briefly with Amber and Madison, sharing in the excitement as they prepared to leave for their adventure to Diagon Alley.

"Now we are ready to go," Joshua announced, turning to face his three daughters with a smile. "We have to walk for a while to get to where we need to go in order to enter Diagon Alley, so let's go." With that, he took Madison's hand and led the way out of the house.

Chloe and Amber followed after their father and little sister, their excitement evident as they stepped outside. Sarah, the last to leave, used her wand to securely lock the front door. Once the house was locked, she hurried to catch up with the rest of the family, who had already started on their way.

The family set off together, making their way towards the entrance that would eventually lead them to Diagon Alley. Joshua assured them that it was only about fifteen minutes' walk to their destination. As they walked, Chloe's curiosity grew with every step, knowing she was finally about to see Diagon Alley for herself after hearing so many stories from her parents.
