Chapter 1:
"Harry," was all that came out.
"Addison, what are you doing here?" Harry sleepily questioned.
"Umm, it's Landon.."
"Addison, please tell me."
I just couldn't tell him. I feel like if I told him it would change everything between him and Landon. I knew how long they have been friends, and I honestly didn't want to hurt their friendship.
"Addison," Harry trailed off. "What happen? Why aren't you with Landon?"
"Nothing, it's nothing."
I knew I couldn't hold the tears in for much longer, but, I was going to try and hold my composure for as long as I could.
"Addie, I know Landon can be a jerk, but, what happen this time?"
I felt the tears start to threaten my eyes.
"Addie." Harry hugged me over the counter, noticing the tears.
"Harry. H-he ch-cheated on me. I walked in on him and Brianne. I-I don't know w-why I even try anymore. This isn't the first time it's happened, with him." I sobbed to him.
I don't know why I trusted Harry so much right now. I just had some weird feeling inside of me that I could trust him right now.
"Addie. I-I'm gonna talk to Landon. He just lost an awesome beautiful girl." he reassuringly smiled.
I weakly smiled back.
"H-Harry, I don't know why I just spilled that to you."
"Hey, Addie, it's fine. I understand he's a jerk. Don't worry about him. He's an asshole. If he really did that to you, especially more than once, he doesn't ever deserve wonderful gorgeous girls like you." He pulled a loose strand of my hair behind my ear. "Well, I gotta close up the bakery, but, I you want to stay and talk, you can." He widely smiled at me.
"Yeah. That sounds good." I smiled back.
I don't know why this is happening. I never though Harry would be this nice to me. Every time I see him in school, he always looks like he's being a sarcastic douche to someone. There seems to be something different about him now.
I stayed and waited outside for Harry to close up his family's bakery. We walked around, both avoiding our houses. I just felt something different for him now.
"Yeah, the first time he cheated, it was supposedly just a little tiny fling he had with Brianne, but, now I know that he was lying last year."
"Well that was a jerk move o...." Harry stopped mid-word. His sight was fixed on a figure a little ways in front of us. The person was moving towards us. I felt the need to stand closer to Harry, just in case, as the unknown person moved closer to us.
"Addie, what happened to you? Babe, I've been looking all over for you. I had a feeling you would be somewhere near the Styles' bakery." Landon revealed himself as the unknown figure.
I moved closer to Harry, if that was even possible.
"Addie, babe, come here. Stop trying with Harry. He doesn't want you because he knows your mine." Landon reached out to me.
"Landon, she doesn't want you anymore. She's tired of you and your shit. She doesn't want you to treat her like this anymore. She told me all about your's and Brianne's 'little thing'. Even I don't like that you are doing this to her. I don't think girls like her should take shit from assholes like you." Harry defended me. I liked that I didn't need to ask him to defend me, and that he just wanted to defend me.
"Oh, now Ads, don't tell me you now have Styles wrapped around your finger. She doesn't need you to defend her, she can do it herself." Landon sounded even more furious by the word. I didn't need to see his face to tell he wanted to pound in Harry's face right now.
I got on the very tips of my toes and moved closer to Harry's ear, "Harry can you just walk me home. I don't want to see him right now." I very quietly whispered to him.
He gave me a small nod and we turned and walked away. I looked back and saw Landon still standing there. He didn't even try to come after me. He just turned around and walked the other way.
Harry walked me to the guest room window. I told him I didn't want to walk into the front door and wake my parents, so I would just sneak through the back room window.
"Harry, I just wanted to thank you for what you said to Landon tonight. You really didn't have to say that for me."
"Hey, Addie. I was happy to be able to say that to him. He really doesn't ever deserve girls like you ever again." Harry smiled, showcasing his dimples.
I shyly smiled not knowing what was washing over me right now. "Harry, I.. we.. umm.." I couldn't find the words to say.
"Can I kiss you Addison Rose?" he asked smiling.
I gave no answer, I just stood on my toes and wrapped my arms around his neck. He moved his arms around my waist pulling me closer to him. Our lips lightly touched at first. I pulled his face closer to mine, wanting to deepen the kiss. He smiled into the kiss. We pulled away, letting our foreheads rest on each other. We stood there for a minute not moving.
"Well, umm.. I.. umm.." Harry stuttered.
I giggled at his lose of words. "Well, I'll see you tomorrow Harry." I moved my right hand down to his pocket and pulled his phone out. I moved back a step, and put my number into his phone. "Well, now you have my number, I'm gonna need yours." I smiled at him.
He moved towards me and took his phone from my hands. I smiled and turned around opening the window to the room. I maneuvered into the room and waved goodbye to him again. I closed the window and watched as he smiled at his phone walking away. I turned and ran up to my bedroom and jumped on my bed.
*bzzz bzzz* my phone yelled at me.
