Chapter 24:

Month 11:

Dear Harry,

Sorry, I haven't written in a few months. It's May now, and Spring Break starts tomorrow. Spring  Break seemed to be earlier back home.

Wow! It's been almost a year since I've been here. This past year has gone by really fast. I've has some fun, and interesting times here. Some of them, I wish you were here with me, but I know that can;t happen all the time. You can't always get what you want.

Well, with my brithday money, and the money I've been saving up from working this past month, I've got about $900.  I mean, I've spent a lot of it, but I'm trying to save up as much as I can. I can't wait until I have enough. I searched on the computer the other day, about how much it will cost to ship my things back with me, and it's actually a lot more than I expected it to be.

I miss you terribly. I love you.

"Addison, wake up! The first day of Spring Break, and you're going to sleep the whole time. For goodness sake, we are literally right acrss the street from the beach. Get your lazy ass out of bed and get ready! We're going to the beach if you like it or not." Ceecee said, while her and Hailey both jumped on my bed, trying to wake me. I groaned and pushed Ceecee off the bed. She hit the floor with a thud. I slightly opened my eyes and laughed at her. She stuck her tongue out at me and got up. She went into my dresser and grabbed my new swimsuit. She threw it at me and yelled at me to get ready, again. She pulled Hailey out of my room and yelled at Hailey to get ready too. Ceecee could be very mean at points in time.

I changed out of my pajama shorts and tank top and threw my bathing suit on. I walked over to my closet and found my yellow sun dress. I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I flipped my hair forward and put it into a high ponytail. I slipped my sandals on and grabbed my sunglasses from my dresser. I walked back to my bed and grabbed my phone from the charger. I looked at my case that I got customized. The same one I gave Harry for his birthday.

I walked out to the living room to instantly be pulled out the dorm by Ceecee. The three of us walked across the street and found an empty spot on the beach. Surprisingly, not many people were at the beach. I guess a lot more people decided to go back home for Spring Break. We layed out our towles and layed down on them. 

After about 30 minutes of laying on our backs, we decided to go cool off in the water. Ceecee ran ahead of Hailey and I. I nodded at Hailey and we both pushed Ceecee face first into the water. She surfaced and looked at us. She had an evil look on her face and Hailey and I ran back to our towles. We didn't make it too far, before Ceecee ran behind us and pulled un into the water with her.

"So, Addison, what do you think we should do for Ceecee's birthday party?" Hailey asked me as we planned Ceecee's party. Her birthday was about a month away. Niall had taken Ceecee out, so Hailey, Austin, and I could plan her birthday.

"I don't know. I think we should just do what you guys did for my birthday. Just have a chill day. Open presents, watch some movies, go out. Whatever." I suggested.

"That's not a bad idea." Austin added. "Ithink Ceecee should just kinda have the day to relax with her best friends." He paused, "Wow, I sound like such a girl right now." He shook his head.

I laughed at him. "He's right. Just have a relaxing day. Maybe just a few decorations hanging up, but not a whole bunch."

Niall opened the door to our dorm and checked to see if we were done talking about the party. We nodded at him and him and Ceecee walked back into the room. I grabbed our notebook, with ideas for gifts and everything, and brought it to my room. I hid it in my dresser and walked back out to the living room.

"Addie, your phone went off. It was Alex. He text you." Ceecee said with a smile on her face.

"You read the message. Didn't you?" I shook my head at her. She just nodded and had a huge smile on her face.

I unlocked my phone and saw the text.

From: Alexx 

Hey gorgeous. I haven't seen you in forever. Well, it fells like forever. Wanna hangout tonight? :)

I text him back with a smile.

To: Alexx

Yeah, sure. Where do you want to hangout. Everyone is at the dorm tonight, so if you want to come here, you can! (:

From: Alexx

I was thinking, maybe my house. My parents are out tonight with Laura and Eric.

To: Alexx

Okay. What time do you want me over? (:

From: Alexx

How about 5? :)

To: Alexx

I'll be there! (:

I lokked a tthe clock on my phone and say it was 2:30. I figured if I was going to get there at 5, I should leave at 3, since it's a two hour dirve to his house.

I got up off the couch and went into my room to get ready. I picked out my favorite aoccer jersey and a pair of high waisted shorts. I walked into the bathroom and brushed my hair real quick, since I straightened it this morning. I grabbed my sandals and my phone. I walked into the living room, where everyone was sitting. Austin must have arrived while I was getting ready. I hugged them all and walked out to my car. I put my sunglasses on and headed to Alex's house.

I walked up to the front door and knocked. About 10 seconds later the door was swung open by a super happy Alex.

"Addison! I missed you!" He hugged me. I laughed and hugged him back.

"So, what are we going to do tonight?" I asked walking into the living room and sitting on the couch.

"I thought, a moon light picnic. But just as friends." He reassured the last part.

Alex and I had promised each other that we wouldn't take it to the next level and date. We both had the same story. Every person we date, or begin to like, always moves on and forgets about us, or treats us like shit. When I felt comfortable enough, I told Alex about Harry.

He completely understood and told me about last year, he had almost the same thing happen to him.

"Okay." He grabbed the picnic basket and we walked out to his car. He started the car and drove off to the park.
