Chapter 30

Chapter 30:

Addison's P.O.V.

"Addison, I don't know if you can hear me or not, but...." She paused. "Nevermind. I just hope you can hear me. I just want to know, that everyone is still waiting for you. We haven't given up on you yet. Ceecee and Hailey woke up a few days ago, and are leaving today. We will come and visit you as much as we can."

"Jazmyne, please. I'm awake. Help me. I'm awake, I promise. I just can't move anything. I can't talk, I con't do anything. Just help me." I yelled. Although, nothing came out, she stopped by the door. I could hear her stop and move the door handle. Had I made some sort of a noise and grabbed her attention?

I heard the door close and I yelled. I couldn't take this anymore. I just want to fully wake up. Why couldn't I do anything? I tried as hard as I could to do something while someone was in here.

That's when it happened.

My eyes shot open. I gasped loudly as I ralized I had fully woken myself up now. My heart raced as I heard the heart monitor beeping loudly.

The doctor rushed into the room as I slowly reached out to her. "Addison. Take it easy, you just woke up. You're doing too much to yourself. If you keep this up, you're going to do more damage to yourself. Stop. It's okay. Your Mom just left. She said she would be back later this evening."

I slowly calmed down at her words. I wish Mum would come back now.

"Addison, listen to me. While yu wait for your Mom to come back today, I want you to relax. Just take it easy please. Maybe get some rest." I recognised the doctor. It was Doctor Anderson. I nodded at her and smiled.

She walked out of the room and I could hear her telling one of the nurses to call Mum.

I looked around the room and saw a bouquet of flowers. My favorite flowers. Lilies. I reached over to them and saw a little note.

Dear Addison,

I'm going to have Jazmyne tell you the news. I'm so sorry for saying those things to you and your Mother. Just know that I'm sorry, and I still love you, despite the things I said that night, I was angry and I couldn't control what I was saying. I'm sorry.

I love you baby girl,

Dad.

When did he come and visit. I never heard his voice. The flowers were fresh, showing that he was here today. I don't remember hearing him at all today.

I put the flowers back on the table and  layed back. I felt my eyes begin to slowly become droopy.

'I looked over to see Ceecee asleep. I lloked into the rearview mirror and saw Hailey asleep. I looked back on the road and saw a car swerving up ahead on the other side of the road. It swerved right into my lane and I knew this was it. I yelled at the girls to wake up. I blinked and opened my eyes again to see the bright lights of another car. I slammed on my brakes, but I knew it wouldn't help. I closed my eyes not wanting to see when it happened.'

I sat up quickly as my eyes shot open for the second time today. My breathing was quick and short.

"Addie, baby girl. Oh, my gosh. I thought I lost you." Mum said as she got out of the chair and over to my bed. I hugged her crying. "Addie, sweetheart what did you dream about?"

"M-Mum. It was the accident. I do't want to dream about it and relive it. I-I I just can't." I suddenly thought of the other girls. "Mum, how are Ceecee and Hailey?" I asked pulling away from our hug.
