Chapter 22:

 Month 9:

Dear Harry,

MY BIRTHDAY!!!! I'm so excited! I can't believe my birthday is here already! It seems like just yesterday, I turned 18. Now 19! This past year has gone by really quickly!

Anyways, on another good note, my teacher is getting me a job at a really great local bakery. She only picks one student each year, and this year she picked me. I start tomorrow. I'm really excited! I can start to save up more money to visit you! I can't wait until I have enough!

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOSER!!" Ceecee and Hailey yelled at the same time. They each handed me a present.

"You guys, I thought I told you I didn't want anything." I sat down on the couch as they sat on either sides of me.

"Oh, these aren't your only presents." Hailey told me. A loud knock rang through our dorm and the door was swung open by Niall, Austin, Jazmyne and Alex. Each of them holding a present.

I laughed at their excitement. They all handed me their presents and sat down.

I decided to open Ceecee's present first. I opened a box and saw the shoes I had needed to go with one of my favorite outfits. I hugged her and thanked her. I opened Hailey's next. It was a new phone case of one of my pictures I took in London on my european trip with Nana, and some earrings. I hugged and thanked her too. Next I opened Niall's gift. It was a new outfit from Forever21 that I had my eyes on since us girls went shopping a few months ago. I knew Niall didn't pick it out. Ceecee probably had to drag him into the store with her. Austin's gift was next. It was an Ed Sheeran hoddie. I smiled remembering it was the one that me and Harry were going to get matching ones. Alex's gift was next. It was a new dress. I knew he probably didn't pick it out. All of these gifts started making sence, they all went shopping together one day, after I told Hailey and Ceecee what I wanted. I smiled to myself. And lastly was Jazmyne's gift. She had the biggest gift. I opened the gift bag and took out the tissue paper. I had a feeling this was going to be a silly gift. The first thing was also a new outfit, with boots to go with it. Next, was a giraffe pillow pet, since she knew giraffes were my favorite animal, some new wall decorations, a new swimsuit, and as a joke, some stuff from Victoria's Secret. I smiled and got up to hug the rest of them and thanked them. 

"Now go get ready, we have to go visit everyone else for your birthday!" Ceecee yelled pushing me into my room with my presents. Probably as a hint that I should wear one of my new outfits. I picked out the dress Alex got me and the shoes Ceecee got me. They went together perfectly. I walked into my bathroom and turned my curling iron on. I brushed my teeth again, for the second time today, for no reason actually. I quickly ran my brush through my hair, to get the tangles out before I curled it. By the tme I finished, the curling iron was ready. I quickly and carelessly curled random parts of my hair to give it a wavy look. I put on very little make up, and walked out to the living room to see everyone in different outfits.

We arrived at Aunt Laura and Uncle Eric's house first. Thankfully, Justin wasn't there. We walked into the house and I saw more presents in the living room for me. "Here open these. I know you have to og see your parents, so hurry and open them." Aunt Laura rushed me. I chuckled at her. I opened Uncle Eric's present first. It was new perfume. "Oh my gosh, I was running low on this perfume too. Thank you!" I smiled at him. Aunt Laura's present was next. It was a pictue in a frame of me and their whole family on Thanksgiving. Next was Erica's present. "I made the card in school for you." She stated before I opened the present. I opened it to see a special homemade card. I remember when I made those for everyone. I read it and she said I was like the older sister she always wanted. I started to tear up, but I was able to hold the tears in. I opened the rest of her present to see a beautiful garnet necklace with matching earrings. I smiled an got up and hugged them all. They rushed us out of the house and told us to go visit Mom and Dad. I hugged them all goodbye and walked over to Austin's car.

We finally arrived at Mom and Dad's house. After a 2 hour car ride, I couldn't wait to get up and walk around. I walked into the house first and snuck up on Mom. She hugged me really tightly. "Happy Birthday baby girl. Everyone is in the living room." Everyone? Who does she mean by everyone?

I walked into the living room to see my friends talking to Dad, Chase Nana, Pop-Pop, Matthew, Gemma (I'm surprised she is here), Grandma, and Pap-paw. I ran over to Nana and Pop-Pop and gave the both of them the biggest hug ever. "I'm so glad you guys could make it! Oh, I don't know what I would do if you guys weren't here. You have always been around for my birthday!" I hugged them again.

"Present time!" Mom and Dad walked out with everyone's gifts. I sat on the couch and took a deep breath. I never really liked people to buy me things. I've always been one of theose people that don't like all the attention on me for a while.

I opened Nana and Pop-Pop's gift first. $500. I looked at the check with wide eyes. I looked at them and they just smiled at me. Next was Grandma and Pap-Paw's gift. They got me new bed sheets and a duvet from Victoria's Secret. They were, of course, giraffe print and the duvet said 'PINK' in multicolored sequence. Next was Matthew and Gemma's present. It was a new shirt and shoes from American Eagle. Chase's present was handed to me. It was also a new dress. Mom and Dad's present was last. Well, it was supposed to be last, but there were two more after this.

I opened Mam and Dad's present to see $50 and a gift card to Forever21. I got up and hugged everyone and thanked them too. I went back to my spot on the couch to see the last two gifts. There was one labeled, From: Everyone. I opened that one first. It was a small box. I opened the box to reveal new car keys. Well, they weren't really new, but they looked brand new. They were my keys to my Bentley that I got for graduation. I thought I would never see that car again. I jumped up and hugged everyone, especially Nana and Pop-Pop, for shipping the car here.

I sat back on the coucha and saw the last present. I read the tag and it said, 'Please open when you are alone'. Okayy..... Weird... I put it in another one of my gift bags as Mom brought out a homemade cake that read, 'Happy 19th Birthday Baby girl!' I laughed at the message while everyone sang to me. I made a wish and blew out the candles.

"Bye Mom! I love you." I waved again from my car.

I backed out of the driveway and drove back to the campus.

"Can you guys help me bring these inside?" I asked Niall, Austin and Alex. I made sure and grabbed the bag that had the mystery gift in it.

We brought my gifts up to my room and said our goodbyes. I changed into some sweats and one of Harry's t-shirts. I stole it from him the day before I left. I walked into the kitchen to see the girls eating some more cake that Mom sent back with us. I said my goodnights to the girls and thanked them one last time for the birthday presents.

I layed back on my bed and stared at the ceiling. This next few days are going to be really busy with getting used to school and working.
