-Katsuki's bedchambers-
"My turn."
The voice in his ear, the hand at his throat, the cocky bastard behind him--did a great job at pissing Prince Katsuki the fuck off, and magic was flying from his free hand before he'd even turned around. "Who the fuck do you think you are?"
He expected to be released--he hoped to hear a scream--but his heat dissipated almost at once as his left fist connected with a wall of rock. No, not rock; loose earth.
Oh, shi--
The dirt covered hand latched onto his fist and twisted sharply, forcing the off-guard prince directly onto the floor, directly where he did not want to be. A hand splayed across his shoulder blades, applying enough pressure to keep his arm twisted back at a painful angle, and Katsuki bit down against a scream. Shit, shit, shit--
"Now, now, now, little prince," the bastard drawled, and Katsuki could hear the sadistic smile behind his words. "Play nice, like you did for the others."
"You will die for putting your hands on me, scumbag!" Katsuki growled, twisting as far as he could manage to glare up at the victor. "What others, Shindo?"
Tama Shindo grinned, slow and lazy. Katsuki remembered his ruthlessness in the games and how he'd started this whole betting scheme--and he also remembered the man's intentions. "Now, Katsuki," he tutted, "don't be like that. You call the others by name, why am I so distant?"
"I asked you a question!" Prince Katsuki shouted his fury back, hurling an explosion with his right hand un a desperate attempt to free his left.
It went bad in the worst way possible. Not only did he fail, Tama's magic redirected his attack and the force propelled into his own ribs--and his shirt caught fucking fire, which hadn't happened since he was a kid. The fire didn't hurt him, but he'd succeeded in getting his other arm caught in an awkward hold with a wall of rock.
Tama pulled his left backward, causing a tense pressure to build in the other as he removed his hand from Katsuki's back to snake around to his neck again, avoiding the flames eating away at the smoldering fabric. Katsuki's incessant growling did nothing to dissuade him as he pressed a finger into the prince's skin. "These others," he said against Katsuki's ear. "I'm not the first victor in your rooms, and now it's my turn."
With a chilling jolt, Katsuki realized he meant the marks scattered across his body.
He meant Eijiro's marks.
"Don't you fucking touch those," he snarled, yanking himself away from Tama's hands only to be yanked right back. "Don't you fucking touch me. Get off!"
Panicked explosions rippled up his arms, only succeeding in burning more of his clothing. Clothing that he realized too late really needed to stay on his body, anything to keep a barrier between him and the man dead set on taking him as his own. Tama fought against his struggles, laughing at Katsuki's desperate attempts to free himself, and managed to pull both of the blonde's hands behind him to trap in a vice grip with one of his. The prince felt himself bruising, his muscles stretching into positions they didn't like, and Katsuki was forced to acknowledge that he was fighting a member of the Cour. A man that fought men much bigger than he on a daily basis. Eijiro had made besting the stone mage look like child's play--now Katsuki realized that Eijiro was just much better at fighting than he'd thought.
