Audrey's Pov
For once, Taylor isn't bitching about everything. She still looks pretty bad from her beating. Hope she won't press charges now that she can move around more. However, she is bitching to her friends and one of them is Sasha. I'm not sure what it is but it must be serious if she's upset towards her friends. I look to my left and see Jess staring at me again only it's more carefully. "What?" I ask. "Has it infected you?" I sigh I roll my eyes as I close my locker. "No, Jess. She is currently at my place getting used to her new home. We'll all be fine. I'll let you meet her when she's confident in other people."
The bell goes and we head to class. When I sit at my table Jess sits on my right and begins taking her things out. I look to the back of the class where Jess originally sat with Taylor. The brunette dropped her eyes when I caught her staring with a frown. I turn to face the front again where Miss McGregor sat at her desk scanning through a paper quickly before dropping it with a sigh and looking to the class. She looks a mess right now.
Her hair was untidy. Shirt a little creased and buttoned up wrong. Her glasses had dirty marks on them and I'm sure there's a dark mark under her left eye. "Can you please turn to pages seventeen in your books and read the next chapter. Analyze it and right down notes." We all do as told and some of us begin to question the teacher's lack of enthusiasm. She appeared quite tired and in need of a rest. A long one. "While you read, I'll be elsewhere. I trust you'll all be quiet and sensible." She then walks out and a moment later someone says "I bet she's away to give someone an A plus." Some laughed, others didn't. I look to Jess who was busy doodling in a little black book.
I honestly hope Miss McGregor is alright. I wonder what's got her so distracted. "Any idea what's up with Teach?" I ask quietly. Jess shrugs and shows me what I assume is her idea of Theo. Four eyes and looking like something from those Predator movies. I shake my head with a chuckle. "Her name's Theo and looks exactly like us, face wise. No mandibles or extra eyes," I say. "Really?" She asks, a little confused. "Yeah. You'll meet her soon, okay? Just gotta let her settle first." The teacher soon returned, buttons fixed and glasses clean.
She sat down again, hands shivering when she tidies her desk a little. Unfortunately, her name was called by the principal over the tannoy. She needed to go to his office. I could see she was scared. A little anxious and hesitant to leave. She was going to say something but she was breathless. Eventually she left and now we're all talking. Everyone is assuming she's been caught with the same shit as last time but I know it isn't that. Maybe it's with how messy she looks. It could be something else too. "My grandparents are goin' out of town this weekend. They said I can throw a party or something in the old barn house," Jess says as she shuffles closer to me.
"Nice. You could bring some of your friends along and maybe we can chill. Have a few beers." She shrugged again and now we find ourselves in an awkward silence. I wonder what Theo is up to sitting alone in the house. Hope she's okay and not needing me to help with something. There's something about her I find fascinating. Maybe it's her hair or her eyes. Her tail or four arms. Perhaps her skin colour. How am I to know? Could literally just be the fact that she's an alien.

Theo's POV
Here I am, sitting in the alien's home and personal room. Her wall was littered with what I assume is posters but they aren't moving image posters. I sat on the end of her bed in silence, unsure what to do or say aloud to myself. I'm alone with my thoughts and the trauma of being exiled after losing the one I loved. I'll admit, being somewhere completely different from my own planet is helping me. I have an urge to explore yet I'm scared to. I want to know more about this little planet. Apparently they have more than one God and different religions. I mean, how crazy is that?! Here's me thinking one was enough. Audrey made it clear that not everyone on this planet is religious and some religions accept others like me who like the same gender.
Anyways, boredom is getting the best of me and I, being my nosey self, got up and looked around. Inside her nightstand, I find some thin books with images of people. They were all flat chested, a little brown looking with beards and... Naked. Do most men, if these are men, walk around naked? Maybe I'll get an answer from my human friend. I set them aside and the take out a small plastic transparent ring with a small rectangular box on the top. The box had a small black switch on it and, when I activated it, the ring started vibrating. I raise a brow, confused. I don't see the point in this vibration.
I turn it off and place it with the books back inside. I go over to her desk and look out the window. It's weird seeing green grass but it does look nice... And soft. My eyes drop to a photo on the desk of Audrey, her parents and someone else. Someone with white hair, smaller than Audrey. Audrey never mentioned having a sister if this is her. I've not seen her around at all. She probably left and lives elsewhere. I see what I knew was a camera. On it was "Canon" and I'm only confused as to why they named it a medieval weapon. Sitting on the left of it was a thin laptop, closed.
I'd go through it if I was indecent and cruel and with great hacking skills. Beside that was a small tray full of ash and what her people call cigarettes. My people never had them. She says they're bad for health but are addictive. On one of her clothes compartments sat a small radio with buttons on it. I take a small box from the pile beside it and read "NightWay" on the front. I play it in the radio and step back and smile to the electronic music I hear. I lay down on her bed and just stare at the ceiling for a moment before turning to face the window. The music was relaxing, I was sleepy hearing the soothing music.

I close the front door and sigh with the comforting silence filling my hears. It didn't last long when Dad comes in from the garage complaining to me again like he did this morning. "I told you countless times to park properly in the driveway, Audrey. You know I need to get my car out and your mother-" "Jesus Christ, alright! I'll fix it!" I exclaim as I storm into the garage to grab a white can of spray paint. I then head to my car and reverse out the driveway and onto the side of the road aggressively. I then proceed to outline the area my car was parked with the spray before heading back inside and putting away the paint. "Fixed!" I say as I shove past my dad and head up to my room.
Upon entering, I shut the door behind me and lock it then catch the gaze of Theo. She was listening to my music on the tape player. She gives a shy wave and I waved it off and drop my bag at my desk. "Did you enjoy school?" She asks. "Yeah, sure. Enjoy doing fuck all?" I ask as I light a cigarette. "Not really. Got a little boring." I shrug with a forced smile. "Yeah, of course. We won't be staying in tonight. Well, I won't be. Not sure if Mom will trust me taking you out." I look to the messages on my phone. The band's having an argument again. Derek I a real bastard. Perverted prick should be kicked. "You look frustrated."
I look to her concerned frown then nod a little. "Some stuff came up and I need to be somewhere to help sort it. You might be able to tag along but you'd have to cover up," I say as begin packing away my guitar. "How much would I need to cover?" She asks. I look to her, head to toe and up again. I then went to her chest which was as perfect as her curvy waist and fine hips. I shake the thoughts off and say, "Everything." So I then go looking through my closet and pull out some clothes that'll hide her for sure. A large black cloak with a hood on it from my emo phase with black leather gloves I was saving for a motorcycle I planned on getting. She also got black trousers to hide her tail.
"Here," I say as I set the clothing on her bed. "Put them on. I'll find a balaclava for you to wear to hide your neck." She nods and heads into the bathroom while I print off some sheet music of a song Jessica will very much like. "I'm ready," Theo says a few minutes later. I hand her a balaclava and she hesitantly took it. "I'm a little uncomfortable." I understand why. She has a tail and an extra two arms she needs to hide as well as her skin colour. "Don't worry. It shouldn't take long. Let me make a call first." I go to call Andy, band's lead singer and guitarist when he feels like it, but he didn't pick up. Guess they'll have to meet her without being informed.
