Izzy's Birthday

It was a beautiful day at the pier as Emilie hoped.But she also hoped nothing went wrong on this day of days.
"Okay,the pier is free of wicked sorceresses,Beagles,Golmgolds in disguise, and Uncle Donald."said Huey.
"Great,so far so good."said Emilie.
"Why are you concerned about Uncle Donald's presence?"
"He knows what he did."
"To Izzy?"
"No!To Gladstone!And I don't want to him to ruin Izzy's life like he ruined Gladstone's!"
"Emilie,what happened with the Sign of Triple Distelfink happened when Gladstone was a child.Izzy is an adult!"protested Scrooge.
"Don't care."said Emilie turning her back to Scrooge.
"Why does it matter anyway?Izzy isn't lucky like Gladstone."
"Hey Emilie!"came Gladstone's voice suddenly. "You were right.This is the one day that Izzy's lucky.They won every game, and keep finding $100 bills."
"That's why."Emilie told Scrooge turning back to him. "364 days a year Izzy can see into the future,except today, their birthday,which they are lucky."
"But why?"asked Huey.
"Well,"began Emilie sitting on a bench with Scrooge, and Huey on one side, and Gladstone on the other side. "It all began the day my mother delivered the egg that Izzy was in.Shortly after we arrived home,the little old Italian lady-I think her name was Ms.Topolino,or something like that-either way she was really spiritualism.And when she arrived at our apartment she told Mama, and Papa that Izzy was going to blessed, and cursed with nothing with good luck."
"She wasn't wrong."Gladstone interrupted Emilie.
"Shush!"said Scrooge.
"Anyway,Ms.Topolino told Mama, and Papa the reason Izzy was going to born lucky was because they were going to born under a lucky star then she gave them a moonstone, told them that by putting it under Izzy's egg until the day they hatched,then their luck would be replaced with something else except for their birthday.Mama, and Papa took the moonstone, but didn't put it under Izzy's egg as they didn't believe in such things.But I took the moonstone when they were asleep, and put it under Izzy's egg."said Emilie.
"And?"asked Huey.
"And what?"
"Well,what happened when your family found out that Izzy could see into the future?When Izzy was lucky on their birthday?"
"Annebelle,Danielle, and I thought it was kinda amazing, but our parents were concerned.They actually took her to the rabbi who believed that they were some sort of prophet."
"But what about the good luck,and the not seeing into the future thing?"asked Gladstone.
"My parents took her to a lot of rabbis.None of them could figure out why they couldn't see into the future on their birthday.They also never realized that Izzy was lucky on her birthday."
"How could they not realize that Izzy could see into the future, and that they were lucky on her birthday?"demanded Scrooge.
"I grew up in a very religious atmosphere."explained Emilie.
"That doesn't explain you,or Annebelle,or Danielle,or Kelly, or any of your other siblings to mention it."said Gladstone.Emilie just shrugged her shoulders.
"I guess we were just smarter than our parents."said Emilie just Danielle,and Izzy arrived where Emilie,Gladstone,Scrooge, and Huey were.
"Emilie!Emilie!"said Danielle.
"What?!What is it?!"asked Emilie in a panic.Something was wrong,she knew it.Some how.
"There's some wrong!"said Izzy,who didn't look as disheveled as they usually did.Their hair was brushed, and was shown to be nearly waist length, and wore a nice dark green outfit.
"What kind of wrong?"
"There's something wrong with the games!"Danielle explained.Emilie suddenly raised an eyebrow.
"Seriously?That's all?"Emilie said.
"There's other things to do here than just games."commented Scrooge.
"You don't understand,Mr.McDuck!Nobody can win the games anymore!Not even I can!"said Izzy.
"Don't be ridiculous.I'm sure I can."said Gladstone getting up, and going towards the water balloon game.Gladstone picked up one of the water guns, and pointed it at the clown head.Only for him to somehow fail.
"Wait.What?How?"asked Gladstone.
"You were relying on your luck.What will beat this game is grit, and determination."said Scrooge taking the water gun from Gladstone's hand.Unfortunately Scrooge got the same result.
"Wait.What?How?I'm Scrooge McDuck!"Scrooge protested.
"We told you!It's like somebody rigged the games or something!"said Izzy.
"Who would do something like that?"asked Scrooge.Gladstone suddenly perked up.
"What about that mobster you sent to prison,Emilie,Big Gino?"asked Gladstone.
"I think he's still in prison."said Emilie.
"And even if he wasn't,why would he rig a bunch of games?"Huey asked.
"To lure Emilie into a trap."said a new,unfamiliar voice.It was Big Gino's.
"Wow,your a lot bigger than I thought you would be. I mean Emilie did say you were shorter than her."said Gladstone.
"He is."said Scrooge. "You just fail to realize that Emilie's a tad shorter than you."
"Hey!"said Emilie.
"Why did you rig a bunch of games to lure Emilie into a trap?"asked Huey.
"To capture Emilie, and Izzy!"stated Big Gino as he pulled out a gun, and a car drove up. "Get in,ladies."added Big Gino pointing the gun at Emilie, and Izzy.Both sisters entered the car with their hands up.
"Emilie!"yelled Gladstone as the car drove off.Scrooge, and Huey looked at him in slight disgust.
"Oh,and Izzy too."Gladstone added.
"We have to get Gizmoduck, and Darkwing Duck."said Scrooge.
"Yeah!A superhero team up!"said Huey with excitement.
"What is wrong with you two?"

"We're here."said Big Gino when they arrived wherever they were.Which was a shady abandoned warehouse.
"I know why you took me,but why take Izzy?And why rig the pier games?Your not Arnold Rothstein."said Emilie when they entered the warehouse.
"Because of her ability and see into the future, and the one day a year she's lucky.That's more useful to us than the lucky goose duck thing you're dating."explained Big Gino.
"But I can't help what I predict."said Izzy.
"And there's more to Gladstone than being lucky!"exclaimed Emilie.
"Whatever."said Big Gino as he cocked the gun.
"You're really going to kill me in front of Izzy?"
"How else am I supposed to keep her in line?"asked Big Gino as he started to point the gun at Emilie only for purple smoke to fill the warehouse.
"I am the terror that flaps in the night. I am the wrong number that wakes you up at 3am. I am Darkwing Duck!"said Darkwing.Big Gino turned his gun to Darkwing only for Gosayln to shoot the gun out of his hand with one her arrows before he could fire it.
"Nice job Gosayln!"complimented Huey as he, and Gizmoduck wizzed by her.
"It's starting."said Izzy with happiness.
"What?"said Emilie,Gizmoduck,and Huey.
"Nothing."
"Um,okay then."said Gizmoduck picking up Emilie, and Izzy. "Let's get you two to safety!"It took a while due to the fighting between Darkwing,Gosayln, and Big Gino but Gizmoduck eventually did get the two sisters out of the warehouse where Scrooge, and Gladstone were.
"Gladdy!"said Emilie with excitement as she rushed up to hug him.
"Nice to see you two are safe."said Scrooge as Emilie,and Gladstone let go of each other, and Gizmoduck return to the warehouse to help Darkwing, and Gosayln. "But why would that merciless mobster take you Izzy?"
"He thought my ability to see into the future, and my birthday luck would benefit his crime family."said Izzy.
"But you can't control what you see."pointed out Huey.Izzy simply smiled at him.
"Why are you smiling at me like that?"asked Huey. "It's kind of weird."
"You'll find out one day."said Izzy.Suddenly Darkwing,Gosayln, and Gizmoduck appeared.
"Well,we have bad news, and good news."said Gosayln.
"What's the bad news?"said Scrooge.
"Big Gino got away."said Darkwing.
"What?"said Emilie,Izzy,Scrooge,Gladstone, and Huey together.
"But the good news is that the police are looking for him."said Gizmoduck.
"Oh,fantastic."said Scrooge.

"So,let me get this straight."said Negaduck. "You want me to join F.O.W.L.,an organization that your crime family funded until you were thrown in prison?"
"Yes."said Big Gino. "S.H.U.S.H. thinks without Bradford,or Black Heron,the other F.O.W.L. agents are lost.But we can round them up,reform F.O.W.L., and make it into the global domination organization Bradford told me it was going to be.Not some wussy 'I can't handle the unpredictable' thing."
"You've got yourself a deal,Big Gino."said Negaduck holding out his hand.Big Gino shook it.An unholy alliance was then formed.
