Y/n POV

The morning came and with it, a new day.

I was nicely tucked in the warmth of my sheets until I heard a loud BANG. Jumping out of the bed like a cat and frantically looking around for the intruder I spotted the other side of the bed, that was empty now. "Where is he?!" My hair was a mess and my voice was a mess but that did not matter now. I needed to find the blob. Suddenly realizing something I slapped both my hands on my cheeks in horror. "What if that sound was made by the intruders?! What if my little fella was kidnapped?! I was yesterday so brainwashed from my award ceremony that I didn't actually process the fact that a BLOB, A LIVING BLOB, was actually a thing! And I brought it into my home!! He is a supernatural thing! He isn't purposed to be real yet here was I, rescuing it from being cooked for dinner! Of course there would be guys who would hunt it down. Maybe his meat is delicious or his skin is worth a ton.

Maybe even someone wants to recruit him as a film star! Which wouldn't be a bad thing…

The government!!! Even the government could and would confiscate him as their property if they found out!!! OMG WHAT DID I GET MYSELF INTOOOOO!" I was being overly dramatic about the situation, making a lot of weird facial expressions and waving my arms in the air, but that happens to me when I am nervous and concerned about the people I care about.

And I care about my blob friend.

A lot.

He was a blob. How can you not care about it and want to protect it with all you have?

While I was rambling about things that will definitely not happen, I have failed to notice some - thing rubbing at my leg. As I looked down, I saw my little blob friend. He was so small against my leg.

He was smiling widely at me. Gasping, I kneeled down and rubbed his head. He let out content squealing sounds. He was adorable.

"You are alright little fella! You feeling better already?" To my surprise he nodded. I was taken aback by that because I really didn't expect for an animal to be this sentient. Then again, he wasn't an animal.

I shook my head. "Wanna eat something?"

He nodded. He is so adorable aaaaa!

"C'mon, let's eat."

I walked out of my room and headed towards the kitchen. I looked behind me just to the blob jumping instead of walking. There's not enough words to describe how incredible and cute that blob was. His movements, jumping, the sounds he was making. It was so special.

And I had it all for myself only.

(I mean, imagine Dream blob just smiling all the time and jumping around. Then, making those weird expressions and sounds of baby animals. ADORABLEEEEEE AAAAA)

As we entered the kitchen, I kneeled and took the blob in my arms. He was kind of slippery, if you didn't grip him well but his skin was smooth and comforting. Great for snuggling. He just looked at me with those big black eyes, his smile not faltering.

"Ok, Mr "I'm-too-adorable". You stay here. I am just going to wash my hands, teeth and face. I'll be back in five. " I put him on a bar chair beside the island. He just blinked, not changing his adorable expression.

Seeing me walk away, he climbed down and started to follow me.

I opened the door and looked at the mirror in front of me. Slowly taking my hairbrush and untangling tendrils of my hair I started fixing my look. During that, the little white mass jumped into the bathroom surprisingly stealthily and started observing me. He squinted his eyes and titled his head. He was taking in every action.

Just as I took my toothbrush, I noticed a presence. Looking down, a smiling little blob was looking at me.

"I told you to stay." His only response was a blink.

I sighed. "Fine, you can stay and watch."

After finishing the morning routine, we went to make breakfast. But then I realized that-

"What do blobs eat? Worms? Insects?"

Little fella just shook his head frowning.

"Ok, ok, I was just asking." I raised my hands in defence.

He huffed, offended. I just laughed at that.

"Ok, I have an idea. I think I might know what you'd like." I winked at him.

After a few minutes, I presented the meal in a bowl to my friend. He leaned and started checking out the wood, sniffing it. How the heck? He doesn't even have-

Launching his head towards the bowl, his head got stuck on the bowl, not being able to reach the contents of the bowl. With a frown and a 'pop', his head rose. He glared at the food and tried again to reach it but the same thing happened. After a couple of times he stopped. With a small 'I need-your-help' whine, he looked at me. If his eyes weren't just huge black orbs, I could have sworn they were those of puppies.

I found a spoon (shovel 🙄✋🏻) and took a spoonful of porridge. Feeding the blob was one of the most wonderful experiences I will ever have in life. I mean, the way he took the spoon in his mouth and started to chew with his eyes closed, was beyond adorable. I was just staring at him like a mother would at her newborn baby.

After he swallowed, we wanted more and more. He was a demanding fella.

When I finished spoon-feeding my new little friend, I made something for me, beacon, scrambled eggs and hot cocoa.

Then I wanted to relax for a bit and watch some action movies. Little blob was following me around everywhere so it was logical for him to watch movies with me on the sofa.

The movie started to play and as it went on, I was genuinely impressed that this fella didn't get scared by all that loud noise, machines and  blood. He actually quite enjoyed it, actually.

I glanced at him and saw that he was happy. Bouncing around, pretending like he is the one fighting. It brought a smile to my face. But then that smile was replaced with a frown.

And a thought, that I didn't like what so ever.

Eventually, I would have to let him go.
