I rolled around in the bed, groaning and whining at the loud sound. There's no way someone's calling me this early in the morning. I'll kill them. I felt something soft and squeezy beneath me as I rolled on the other side of the bed. Blinking my eyes out I saw that I kinda sorta almost squeezed the life out of Dream. The now awake blob gave me a glare, whining. "Sorry." I made an apologetic face as I rolled out of bed. As I sat, I rubbed my face to get myself more conscious and took my phone.

Blinking at the screen I saw an incoming call from Mark.

My pulse sped up as I cleaned my throat and got my messy hair curls out of my face to try and look as appealing as possible even though he wouldn't be able to see me. "Hello? Oh, Mark! ' That you?!" I tried to pull up the act of not having his number and act dumb.

It totally worked out.

"Hello, Y/n." He said shyly. Weird. He is never shy.

"Hey, how are you? Um, I-me and my friends had some plans for today. Would-would you maybe want to come and hang out with me-I mean us? Hang out with us."

I felt my cheeks heat up. "Uh, yeah, sure. I'd love to. When exactly?"

"Cool. Are you free today maybe?"

"Yeah, in fact, I am. I mean, you didn't have to wake me up at 8am just to ask me that, but alright." I said not missing the opportunity to sass in my annoyed self into the conversation.

"8am? Girl, it's 1pm sharp." I had my eyes closed, rubbing them with my one hand when I abruptly jumped and looked for the clock on the wall. He was right. There's no way… I mean, it does make sense since-

"- yeah… We went to bed very late."

"Sorry… We?"

Oh, shit.

"No, I was talking to myself. Nothing important." I started to wave my hands in front of me like an idiot. He can't see us, you nimrod!

". . ." silence

"... So, 's 5pm good? At the bar down the main street?"

"Yeah, yeah! I'll be there!"

"... Bye."

"By-"  He hung up.

Was he mad? About what I blurted out? Does he think I had a man in my bed?! Oh, God, he'll think I'm some kind of slut.

I didn't have a 'human' man in my bed. I had a blob-man-like thingie in my bed. Aha ha… yeah… yeah.

Adding this to my list of the wrongs I did and which I want to make right, I wiggled out of the bed, took new clothes and went to the bathroom. I needed to get ready.

But behind my back, I failed to notice a now frowning Dream sitting on my mattress.

"Dream, I'm going out tonight. I need you to stay here." I was running around my room frantically looking for my clothes.

I stopped running when I saw, and heard, Dream throw some kind of a little tantrum. He was rolling on the mattress and whining annoyingly.

He didn't want to stay here.

"Dream. You have to. It's too dangerous for you to go with me." I explained but my mouth couldn't resist falling open when Dream started imitating me, giving a short huff at the end, like he knew what I was going to say. Strange.
