After both of us eating I was beyond bored. I didn't know what we could do exactly so I asked my blob friend.

"Hey, what do you want us to do today?" I put my hands on my knees, leaning in.

The blob looked at me and jumped away, a hurt expression on his face. I blinked at his behavior. What did I do?

I speed-walked around him to face him, only for him to change his direction again.

"Hey, hey! Wait! What did I do?! Why are you mad at me? Please, talk to me!" I sounded desperate.

He stopped in his tracks and stayed like that for a few moments before turning around to face me. He pointed his head at the main door and then jumped hard a few times on the place he was standing on.

I kneeled down with a sorrowful expression. "I am sorry that I yelled at you to stay put. But-it's just that, no one can see you or else they might try to take you away from me. And I don't think I would be able to handle that.

"Do you forgive me?" I opened my arms, inviting him in for a hug.

The blob slowly replaced his expression with a smile and jumped towards me. I hugged him tightly while he snuggled his head in the crook of my neck. After we pulled apart, I kissed his forehead.

"Now, what do you want us to do?" I was expecting for him to give a sign or show me something wanted to do but all I got was a big smile and his eyes blinking at me one time.

I sighed and then laughed. "How about I teach you what board games are? I said, smirking.

I walked upstairs to take the game from my closet especially made for board games. I decided that we were gonna play Ludo.

Climbing down the stairs and holding the game in my hands I smirked evilly. This blob had no idea what he got himself into. I never lost one round of Ludo.

I sat on the floor and opened the game. When I set everything up I needed to explain to my friend how to play.

"So, At the beginning of the game, each player's four tokens are out of play and staged in the player's yard (one of the large corner areas of the board in the player's colour). When able to, the players will enter their tokens one per turn on their respective starting squares, and proceed to race them clockwise around the board along the game track (the path of squares not part of any player's home column). When reaching the square below his home column, a player continues by moving tokens up the column to the finishing square. The rolls of a single die control the swiftness of the tokens, and entry to the finishing square requires a precise roll from the player. The first to bring all their tokens to the finish wins the game. Each player rolls the die; the highest roller begins the game. Players alternate turns in a clockwise direction. To enter a token into play from its yard to its starting square, a player must roll a 6. The player can draw a token from home every time he gets a 6 unless the home is empty or moves a piece 6 times. The start box has 2 own tokens (is doubled). If the player has no tokens yet in play and rolls other than a 6, the turn passes to the next player. "

I explained pointing at every token, home, spot, everything. I even had to explain what a dice is. Surprisingly, he was quietly following everything I said. His eyes were focused on my hands, eyes and board pieces. He was really focused and trying to absorb all the information.

When I was done, I looked at him. "You understand?" I only reserved a nod from him with a serious concentrated expression. "Okay…Let's play. Just know that I haven't lost even one, so good luck.

And may the best player win. "

After 10 minutes of playing we were on our last tokens. Both of us had only one to bring home. I was surprised to say the least. My little blob understood everything and he did struggle at first, but now he's playing like a professional! He was so adorable, I couldn't explain it… He had to take the dice in his mouth in order to throw it. I thought that it would be all covered in his spit and slimy but I was wrong. He was being so careful to not wet the cube. He always gently and slowly took it with the top of his lips and threw it. Same for the tokens. I proposed that I could move his tokens and dice but he only shook me off.

To see him having a serious face on this long was something new. He was really concentrating.

As I threw the dice and got 5, it landed on his spot for exit. I was nervous because if he gets 6 now, he will send me back to my home.

Holding my breath I watched as the dice landed on 6. I screamed out loud a Darth Vader 'no'. The blob only laughed.

I was trying my best to get 6 to exit the home but miserably failed as the blob got his last token in and completed all four.

While screaming in my defeat for a few seconds, the blob started to roll on the floor, laughing. My jaw went slack. I-I lost… From a blob! I-that never happened to me! (no shit Sherlock 🙄)

Pouting, I crossed my arms. I am always so salty when I don't win. "Hmph, beginner's luck."

Blob just nodded his head in a sarcastic way. Ohhh, fuck you! (later bestie)

Jumping towards me he dived for a hug. I couldn't be mad at this guy, he's just too- well, him! I returned the hug and felt him rubbing against my neck.

I started giving him baths every night and with that, his skin somehow was able to absorb shampoo fragrances. Let's just say that it sometimes smelled of mint and sometimes on flowers. But not the kind you'd smell in a perfume or the said shampoo, no. It smelled natural and comforting, like a drug. If you smell it too much you could fall asleep. On a human skin it smells so fake and irritating but his skin somehow was able to melt and reduce it to all natural stuff. In reality, he was the only one who could have a scent like that, no human or creature could match him.

So when I tell you that I love when he passes his scent to me while rubbing on me, you can't judge me for indulging.

But the natural shampoo scent wasn't the one that was making my mind go crazy and be filled with clouds and clouds of fogginess. Those scents were the ones that his skin absorbed, not produced. They weren't his primary ones. His primal ones.

He was reeking of something unknown to me, a scent that was now being carved into my skin.

So soft and unnoticeable yet so strong and dominant.

It smelled- it smelled like him. Felt like him. He was carving his scent into my skin without me knowing, marking his territory and property, claiming me.

Claiming me as his.
