Sorry for being gone for a week! School's been killing me. I feel like a track ran me over.

Anyway, if you see any grammar mistakes, EVER, please do correct me.

After the blow minding experience of Dream knowing how to code complex programs, I got ready to take him out (to dinner ofc, not kill him, sheesh, festival ptsd huh y'all ?).

But I had a few obstacles on the way. I couldn't just put the blob on a leash and act as if he's a puppy. I need to hide him.

I thought of rolling him into a packet as a burrito but it was a 'no' for that since he wouldn't be able to breathe. In the end I decided to put him into a giant bag for the beach. It might be a bit weird to wear it to park in the middle of night but still, who cares.

Now the other problem was that I needed to trick Dream somehow to get in the bag and stay put. No sounds, no movements, nothing. Sounds kinda impossible, I know. And he is not the most obedient of creatures but I really needed him to listen to me for just this once.

"Hey Dream. Whatcha doing bud?" I kneeled.

He immediately stopped what he was doing and turned to me, blinking only ones. I scratched my chin with my finger. "Hey, I have a surprise for you, wanna see it? It's a surprise only made for you. " I had to emphasize that it was especially for him because for the last week of us living together I realized that he likes to be praised, to get all the attention, doesn't like to share things and gets really snuggly when I talk to someone else or do anything not related to him.

He jumped in excitement at my words.

"We're going somewhere but look at me, it's really dangerous to take you outside so you'll have to listen to all I tell you, okay?"

He made a pouty face. "I am serious, please, I couldn't forgive myself if something happened to you."

Getting the serious tone in my voice he nodded as I smiled at him.

"Okay, let's go. " Standing up, I went to grab the bag.

Putting Dream in the bag wasn't easy in the slightest. He screamed like he was never going to see the light of the day again.

But now, we were walking down the street and his head was poking out of the bag, all curious and smiling. There weren't a lot of people on the street but still, every now and then I had to push the blob's head in the bag. I didn't know where he was from, nature I guess, so all this was so new for him; big city, streets, lots of light. We had one big street to go through and then we'll be at the park.

The exact same street I found him in...

Stopping at the alleyway I rescued him from, I looked hesitantly in its direction.

What I saw surprised me.

I saw a bunch of kids running around and gathering stuff. My curiosity took the better of me so I had to find out what was happening.

As I neared them, I saw the same kid I had my little "encounter" with last time.

"Hey, kid." I smiled.

He stopped in his tracks and looked for the voice calling him. Once he recognized my face he ran straight up to me. "Miss!"

He looked like he was about to hug me but decided not to. He was so jumpy, filled with excitement. "Hey, little one! Sorry about the last time." He leaned towards Dream to apologize. Dream just nodded, thin line as his lips.
