I'm a Monster | Bakugo (SFW)

You were walking back to the dorms from pretty long walk. The sun was already setting, the warm wind blowed your face and the birds were chirping. When you were in front of the building, you noticed a man, with spiky blond hair you recognised already, it was Bakugo. Bakugo is your closest friend, we can say he's like your best friend, but you considered him a bit more than a friend, you had a big crush on him. Yes that's right, Bakugo Katsuki, this Bakugo with a always grumpy face, who's always angry on everyone, the Bakugo who wants to be the number 1 hero. Yes this Bakugo.

He had his head down, the hands in his pockets. He seemed... calm.

When you moved closer to him he stopped, still with his head down and his hands in his pockets. You approached to him a bit closer then you stopped.

"Bakugo, you're okay?" you asked with a calm expression.

Bakugo turned his head on the side, you could see his face a bit, he... he was about to cry?! you thought.

"Hey, answer me."

"tch, why?" he mumbled, you looked at him a bit confused, what did he mean why?

"huh?-"

"Why the fuck do you care?" he interrupted you, you looked at him surprised. You stayed silent for a moment then he continued

"y/n i... i can't handle it." his voice was trembling like he was really about to cry right now.

"Bakugo... what's wrong?!" you asked worried.

"i- i'm a fucking mess y/n..."

you stayed quiet again, honestly you didn't know what to say, it's the first time that he's saying this to you.

"I'm so tired of myself, i was just trying to become a number one hero but... fuck... how the fucking mess like me can become a fucking hero like All might?" he stopped for a second, he caught the breath then continued

"This damn fucking nerd is better than ME, he was fucking quirkless how the fuck he can be better than me? Why... just why... WHY THE FUCK ALL MIGHT CHOSE HIM AND NOT ME? ITS BECAUSE OF MY ANGER ISSUES? MY QUIRK? WHY??"

He started to shout turning his look on you, his eyes, his crimson eyes were about to break, HE was about to break. You hated to seeing him like this, you felt like your heart moved to your throat, your eyes were slowly filled in tears.

"I- I KNOW THAT I CANT BE A HERO, I WAS BULLYING DEKU, I WAS SO MEAN TO PEOPLE, AND.... and even if i was so mean with everybody... they always saved me... i can't.. i can't even save myself how i'm supposed to save others huh? y/n! HOW!?" he yelled at you by gripping his shirt, looking at you...

"I CANT BE A HERO, I CANT!" you felt your tears already falling on your cheeks, seeing him like this was really painful to you.

"someone who bullies others... someone who scares others but supposed to support them, comfort them... i- IM A MONSTER!" he yelled looking at you with a pain, he was so hurt when he was spelling these 3 last words. His red eyes were full of tears, full of pain.

You slapped his cheek, you looked at him with tears in your eyes "STOP." you shouted,

you could notice his expression on his face, he was shocked but he seemed calmer than few seconds ago. You were still looking at him with tears then you pulled his head on your shoulder. You were holding his neck softly while his forehead was on your shoulder,

"stop... please stop.." you whispered with your shaky voice and mouth.

You also noticed something wet dropping on your shoulder, your eyes widened when you realised it was his tears. You put your other hand on his back, softly caressing.

"Don't say it... please..." you begged

"you are not a monster. dont even think about it."

Bakugo sniffled and you hugged him tighter

"don't compare yourself to Izuku, you have the same goal but not the same strategy, yours is different. And i love it. I really admire you, you're so stubborn and i think it's cute when you're stubborn like this, it shows how much you're trying to be the best and you are." you said before continuing

"And being like All might ? i don't want All might, i want the Bakugo fucking Katsuki."

Bakugo sniffled again and placed his arms around your waist, you became red as a tomato.

"Bakugo." you said calmly

"you are the best futur hero that i know" you stopped before continuing

"You are my hero."

Bakugo froze, his arms around your waist numbed while you were caressing softly his neck and his back. His neck became hot.

You looked down before continuing "Katsuki, you're really my dearest friend, and i really appreciate your company even if you have these issues, i will always appreciate you, always adore you..." you stopped to catch the breath

"always love you."

you blushed and a silent settled some minutes.

"Y/n." he said raising his head, you stared at him, his eyes were wet and he was all red, his face became soft but he was looking away. You smiled

"You don't have to say anything, it's alright if you don't feel the same way" you said gently

"no dumbass." he mumbled before making meet his eyes with yours "i do."

Your eyes widened and you blushed even more

"I do love you." he blushed and you smiled to him softly

"and thank you... for supporting me... and um- it's one of the reasons why i love you. You're always here for me and i- um... i appreciate it." he said blushing more and looking away

"Don't thank me idiot, i only want you to be happy." you said softly then you noticed that you have still your hand on his neck. You looked away too.

"um- can we um- can i hug you?" he asked embarrassed blushing like hell, you just giggled in response and put your head in the crook of his neck.

"of course we can dummy" you mumbled softly while you were nuzzling in his neck. Bakugo squeezed your waist and put his forehead on your shoulder like previously.

"Don't ever dare to tell yourself these ugly things again, okay?" you said while you were caressing the side of his neck.

"yea. whatever." he mumbled.

You stayed like this for minutes, the soft wind was blowing you two gently and the sun was slowly disappearing more and more. You two wanted to stay like this forever, 'i'm a monster' he said but does real monsters are able to notice their faults ? Are able to talk about it ?
