"There, that's the walls all done," I smiled, stepping back.

"We as an alright job didn't we," My Mum smiled, wrapping her arm around me.

Alfie had gone to spend the day with his Mum and sister in London so I stayed behind and finished off the room. I was going to go see Mum but she offered to come to me instead.

"I still can't believe that this will be your baby's room," My Mum whispered, covering her hands with her mouth. "It doesn't seem 5 minutes ago I was painting your room, a pretty pink with butterflies," She murmured. "Oh stop growing up!"

I giggled as she shook her head.

"Don't be laughing, this will be you in 24 years," She chuckled, wiping her eye.

"Don't say that, I feel old," I giggled, hugging her. She hugged me tightly and kissed my cheek.

"Your always my baby girl, no matter how old you get and how many children you have," She whispered, kissing my cheek again.

I smiled and bit my lip, feeling like I was going to cry also.

"Stop it," I weakly smiled. "I love you Mummy."

"I love you too sweetie," She hugged me again. "Oh, anyway. I'm guessing because the rooms white, you don't know the gender?"

"No, we do," I smiled, waiting to give her the big news. She gave me a confused look as if she was waiting for me to finish.

"Well?" She asked, smiling. "Oh wait, I don't want to know. Wait, yes I do just tell me quickly before I change my mind again."

"Well, I'm having a.." She looked so excited. "A boy!"

"Oh my God, Zoe!" She scooped me into a hug and started jumping round in a circle.

"And a girl," I finished, she stopped and pulled me back, with her hands on my shoulders.

"What!" She looked shocked. "A boy and a girl, two? WHAT!" She shrieked.

I giggled again.

"Two! I get two, one of each!"

"That's exactly how I reacted," I smiled.

"Well, congratulations. How many other people know?"

"You, me and Alfie, possibly his Mum," I smiled. She hugged me again as Nala scuttled to our feet.

My Mum scooped Nala up and started petting her.

"You hear that Nala? Two new play mates!" She laughed and I joined her.

"Your insane," I giggled. And then I gasped. "Sugar! Mum, I'm really sorry, I forgot to get you anything. I thought you were coming tomorrow."

"It's fine Zoe, you've given me the best present ever," She smiled as I walked downstairs.

"Well thank goodness for that," I smiled.

"But lunch would be nice.."

"Done," I giggled, grabbing my coat and keys.
