Minho's P.O.V:
Light was slowly taking over from the darkness in the Glade as I packed away my lunch into my backpack. I liked the break of dawn, it was calm and all the other Shuckfaces were still asleep so I had a few minutes to let my brain clear up a little bit. A fresh breeze brushed over my skin as I opened the Kitchen door. The light was dim, but night was beginning to fade away. In the middle of the Glade, I caught sight of Newt who was lying in the grass; Newt really looked like klunk these days, and seeing him like that crushed my heart. The shucking creators had broke him and I swear he was as empty as a hollow shell. He had no soul anymore...I hated it...it was indescribable.
I made my way towards him to find the shank staring at the sky, lost in deep thought. When I bent to block his vision, he muttered "bloody shuckface" and stood to face me, arms crossed over his chest.
" 'Sup shank?" I asked with a teasing grin.
"Slim it, Minho, don't ya see i'm having a bloody conversation with myself?" he let out a small chuckle which lit up his pale face, though fatigue and sorrow were still evident on his traits.
"Glad to see your shucking smile is back" My comment made him laugh further, and he patted me amicably on the back. After a minute or two of silence I took a deep breath and tousled his hair, making him groan like a little kid. I cast a glance at my watch and walked away near the gigantic doors to prepare myself for my day running. I finally heard the opening mechanism clank, allowing the walls to move and create a wide opening into the Maze.
But before I could even take a step forward something caught my eye...to my left was a pile of ivy and something was lying in it...Wait! Not something, but someone!
First of all, what the shuck would a pile of ivy be doing in the middle of the Glade, and secondly, why the hell would it have a shucking person in it?! It looked as if it had been put here on purpose, as if somebody intentionally dropped it there...weird...
"Klunk, creators, what the hell is this even doing here..." I muttered to myself while moving closer to the ivy. I clenched my fists, to make sure I could defend myself if the person decided to attack me. But it looked like he was lifeless, he didn't move a single inch. I was finally close enough to the dark green ivy to see, but I suddenly jumped back, yelping like a crazed animal when I saw what was in the plants. My eyes widening from surprise.
"Holy Klunk!" I gasped. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Newt limping towards me, a worried and amused expression on his face.
"Are you the one who screamed like a bloody terrified girl?" He asked with a huge grin plastered across his features.
"Slim it and get your ass over here!" I pointed at him the pile of ivy with a nod of my head. Newt instantaneously froze when his eyes met the lifeless body. He squatted to lean over it, and gently pushed some of the ivy away from their face, before gazing up at me. He frowned and I could barely hear him say he was 'so bloody embarrassed'.
"It's a shucking girl..."
"Oh, really? 'Cus I thought it was a very feminine looking guy!" I sarcastically replied, raising one eyebrow. The body was a she. We were both really confused...
Her P.O.V:
Ugh...my head...it was pounding as if someone was playing the drums inside it. Like some sort of sickening concert inside me. I felt drugged and dazed. My eyes were closed and my developed all-wisdom told me that opening them would be a bad idea...gut instinct. I didn't know why but I had a really bad feeling about what would happen, moreover, I was too weak and none of the parts of my body responded. This was really frustrating... Could this get any worse ?!
