Her P.O.V:

I did it, I reached the doors! Though... Something was wrong. It wasn't quite what I expected. A long corridor led to other solid walls covered in ivy, which seemed artificial, as if someone had worked really hard to make it look perfectly natural but failed. The dim lightening didn't inspire me confidence, so I stopped for only a few seconds to think a bit and catch my breath. But that was a couple of seconds that almost cost me to get caught: behind me, the dark boy called Alby was about to grab my hand, followed closely by his blond friend! I only had time to rush away from him, having a brush with the damp ground as I stumbled.

"Hey, wait up, slinthead! The dark boy shouted between two breathes. We're not gonna hurt you!"

Yeah, that's right, keep trying to fool me! I thought while taking the first turn only to discover some other endless walls. A maze... That's it! This place was a freaking maze! Dammit, that was the reason why all the teenage boys didn't want me to go in here! I bit my lip to contain an internal screaming from being external, hoping for something —anything- to happen! If God had ever existed, that was the perfect moment for him to show up and create a miracle. But nothing came. Only looming walls in each single spot my eyes looked.

Left, right, right, left, right... I tried to remember every single turns I made, but one or two minutes later, everything was messing up in my head. I had ran too much and my whole body was hurting and my muscles were sore; I couldn't feel my legs anymore. I had to take a break. Just a tiny little break to rest my body. Of course, ever since I got here I had taken the wrong decisions, rushing headlong into the unknown, and this one was one more crucial bad decision. A shadow suddenly emerged from nowhere.

"You're not going any further, shuckface!" Someone said and before I realized what was happening, I was flattened against the ground, letting a hoarse screech escaping from my mouth. The guy had appeared in front of me, god knew how! He stuck my legs and arms under his and looked straight at me with an icy gaze which sending me shivers. Sweat beaded on his forehead, and his tanned skin glowed from perspiration. The Asian boy could barely breathe, winded and tired, but he had to stay concentrated to keep me still as I was struggling against his sweltering body.

"Get the hell off me!" I hissed, hearing my voice for the first time. It was a bit strange, like slightly scratchy, and almost husky at the same time.

"Just calm the shuck down! Then we can talk!" He yelled back.

I replied with a wild groaning, although I obeyed by relaxing a little. The teenager offered me a smirk that vanished almost immediately, then he helped me up and without adding anything else, took my wrist and nearly dragged me behind him.

"Who are you? And... What is this place!? But hey, why can't I remember anyth-"

"Slim it, we'll explain everything later." He cut me off.

Really?! Well that was not a good first impression from this sassy dude! As we were walking at a fast but steady pace, the boy kept mumbling unaudible words to himself. I couldn't see his face, but I could almost smell the anger, or nervousness, emanating from him. His free hand was closed in a fist while the other one was clenched around my scorched wrist. I admit that I was frightened, for obvious reasons: I had absolutely no idea of what was going on or who I was. I didn't even know what I looked like. And how old was I? Ugh, so much questions. My head was starting to ache, again. Concentration. I had to focus so I could find out what this mess was all about, at least, if my brain was a bit more cooperative.
