Her P.O.V:

My eyes fluttered open and tried to get used to the oppressing darkness around me. I couldn't say if it was night or if the room was isolated from light. My body laid on the rough ground thus my hair was all dirty and stinky from laying in the mud, and my khaki pants had turned brown from the filth. Once again, I had a strange feeling, I was completely lost in time. The last memory I had was that Gally kid's face and his strong eyebrow game... And someone injecting me something in the neck... Then pain. I gasped when my fingers met my skin at the zone where I remembered being stung. Threads snaked in and out my skin, and it took me a long minute to realize what had happened. Shivers ran along my spine as muted words escaped my lips. "They sew me." My gaze dropped on my extremities still resting on the floor as I was in a sitting position then I had to squint my eyes to make out, in spite of the darkness, the bandages covering my formerly scorched skin. Why would they take care of me to lock me up afterwards? Still confused, I stood up on my shaky legs but nearly fell, they were too sloppy to hold my weight. Fortunately for me, the single barred window in the room was a good thing to hold on, so I just grabbed a bar until my legs stretched a little. Which brings me to this window with no glass. Well at least, I thought it was a window since the only source of air was coming from here. Now I was sure night had fallen, and despite the fact that I just woke up, I felt really dazed and tired. To be honest, sleeping was definitely not part of my escaping plan, so having a nap was out of the question. Feeling my way along the wall, I stopped by a locked wooden door. As much as I tried to open it, it would just slightly creak and that's all. So after a few pointless tries, I banged my fist against the wooden surface. Again and again. Until leaning my forehead on it and sighed in frustration and exhaustion. What am I even doing here?

Newt's P.O.V:

The key slid in the rusty lock and squeaked until it clicked and opened. Rays of light sneaked in the slammer by the door ajar. Something drew my attention at the doorstep: the newbie was curled up into a ball, locks of hair covering her face. Her chest heaved peacefully and I could hear her tiny breaths as I squatted to gently shake her. I put a hand on her shoulder (Which seemed bloody small beside my own hand).

"Hey, greenie? Wakey wakey." She groaned and stretched as much as possible as if she was in a really comfy bed and her eyes locked on mine. I couldn't help but smile: her attitude was kinda funny, she looked like a grumpy kid who didn't want to get up.

"Whataya want?" She asked, annoyed. Then her face suddenly lit up and the following second she was already on her feet. "Am I free, yet? You're here to let me go?" I didn't even have the time to answer, she was already taking a step towards the exit until I blocked her way, standing right in front of her.

"Alby said ya could stay, as long as ya don't break any rule again. Good that, greenie?" I added with sly overtones of severity in my voice. Disappointment distorted her face and her arms dropped on the either side of her body.

"... What if I don't want to?"

" 's not like ya have a bloody choice, huh? Besides, ya wouldn't want to get banished, trust me, it's a dangerous place out there." She rolled her eyes and violently dropped her butt on the one single chair of the room. CRAK! The wood gave out under her weight and her body collapsed on the ground in a heavy noise.
