Stereo Kicks Preferences

You and Casey had broken up a few days ago as he was gone too much and he didn't like feeling like he's holding you back from anything. It was a mutual decision, but 3 days later, lying in your bed with empty food packets round you, you were wishing you had stopped him.
Casey wasn't doing much better. He had forgotten a few of his lyrics the past two shows they've done and he won't sit next to anyone on the bus. He'll sit alone listening to music and looking through pictures, videos and texts of the two of you.
'Colleen, you have to get up soon!' your best friend, Sophia, exclaims walking into your room and opening up your curtains letting the bright sun in, like she had done for the past few days.
'Why did I let him leave? I love him' you whisper the last part and Sophia sighs and sits on the edge of your bed. 'And he loves you. That's why he did what he did, he thought he was doing the right thing' she tells you giving you a sympathetic smile. 'But you have to get up today, if you want to see him again and win him back' she winks standing up and going to your drawers. You had tickets to go see the X Factor tonight, but now you were fighting yourself whether you should go or not. 'What if he doesn't want me there?' you ask as she laughs 'Stop being stupid. Now go shower'
A few hours later you were sat in the arena watching all the finalists do their thing. Every time Stereo Kicks came on it seemed as if Casey was forcing a smile. He didn't forget any lyrics tonight but you could tell he wasn't as happy as he was pretending to be.
Sophia must of told someone you were coming as she pulled two backstage passes from her bag handing one to you, 'Let's go get your man back. But only if you introduce me to Chris' she winks as you laugh at her and nod.
She was dragging you to the boys' dressing room and you saw Casey walking towards it from the other side with Jake. You turn before he can see you 'Colleen' Casey shouts as Sophia runs to you 'It'll be fine, cmon' she says convincing you as you turn to see Casey smiling walking towards you as Jake stays back a bit. 'Hi' you mumble as he pulls you into a bone crushing hug. 'I've missed you so much, I regret everything I did. I'm miserable without you' he whispers into your hair as you nod 'me too, I love you so much Case'. 'I love you to' he smiles pulling back to kiss you.
