You were getting ready for Reece coming over tonight. You've been best friends for ages so having sleepovers with eachother doesn't faze you at all. You've always had a crush on Reece but always tried to push it away knowing he won't feel the same way back. Now you were getting older your starting to realise you have to move on and start liking other guys but it's harder done than said!
Reece finally arrived at around 7 and you just went upstairs chatting randomly and playing your brother xbox.
Around 10, you decided to get your PJs on and watch some films.
You were both laying in your beds watching films like usual, but tonight seemed different. There was an awkward vibe in the air and you didn't like it.
M 'Reece, are you alright?'
R 'Whaf? Oh...yea i'm fine why? Are you alright?' Reece rambled on until you stopped him.
M 'I'm fine, it just feels kind of awkward and I wanted to know if there was a reason?'
R 'If you think this is awkward, what will it be in a few minutes' Reece mumbled.
M 'What?'
R 'Look...' Reece sighed as he turned to look at you. 'I've had feelings for a girl now for a while. I ignored them because I thought they'd go away but. They won't.'
You look away now feeling more stupid about your feelings towards him. 'Does she know?' you ask him.
'She does now' he tells you shuffling closer to you, you not catching on to what he's saying as you look up at him confused.
He lets out a small chuckle as he nervously takes your hand 'It's you. I'm in love with you Morgan'. You stare at him in shock before letting a huge grin strech onto your face. 'I love you to Reece' you tell him as he leans in to kiss you.
That night instead of sleeping apart, you decided to cuddle, not knowing how that night could get any better.
