Charlie was one of your best friends. When he went off to the X Factor you slightly drifted away from him. You didn't see it as a terrible thing because you know hes busy and he's done the same with all of his friends. Not that he means to, it's just that he doesn't have the time.
Now that the X Factor Tour was over, Charlie was coming home for a few weeks. His mum and dad had planned a huge surprise party for him which you were invited to. Secretly you had always liked Charlie, but no one knew. Not even your closest friends, you always decided it would be best to keep it to yourself.
You were now standing in Charlies living room with a lot of other people waiting for his parents to arrive back with him. 'Hide their home' you hear someone shout and you duck behind a chair with a few other people squishing up beside you.
A couple minutes later the door opened and someone counted down quietly '3, 2, 1' 'SURPRISE' everyone yelled just as Charlie walked through the door with a shocked face on him.
Charlie had went to catch up with family and closest friends for a while so you chatted to other people. You went to the toilet and as you were coming out you saw Charlie leaning against the wall as he looks up at you. 'Were you needing the toilet? sorry' you apologize as he shakes his head 'I was waiting for you actually, someone told me you came up here'. 'oh, why?' you ask trying not to be rude. 'I missed you. And being gone made me realise that. I-um-i' Charlie says as he begins to stutter. 'You what Charlie?'
'I like you, and I was wondering if you wanted to go out tomorrow or something?' he asks quickly looking down with red cheeks as you smile. 'I'd love to Charlie' you reply as he looks up at you with a huge grin. 'Really, cool. I mean, so tomorrow?' he smirks as you nod and he quickly pecks your lips before going back down stairs leaving you grinning to yourself.
