Jake - You had came early in the day with your brother this Saturday so he could meet Jake before he goes on and on about how he hates Stereo Kicks and that he's no good for you. Every week he does that. You have to watch their performance back on YouTube when he's gone because you hardly hear any of it. You took your 8y/o sister as well. She likes Stereo Kicks and obviously is on your side of this argument, but that doesn't change your brothers mind at all!
You were in a room backstage and someone who worked here said Stereo Kicks would arrive soon. Your brother was ranting on about how their hair looks stupid, their outfits are old-fashioned, and none of them were good singers, but you knew he didn't mean any of it and just couldn't accept that his little sister was finally growing up. About 15-20 minutes later the door opens and James walks in smiling at you 'FOUND THEM!' he shouts as he opens the door wider and comes to greet you. Your brother shakes his hand, just, not even looking up at him. You did text Jake earlier telling him your brother would probably be a but stubborn, but obviously he didn't tell the others that.
The others finally walked in. Your sister looked up to the 8 boys with a sparkle in her eyes. You laughed at how happy she was. Jake came over to you first hugging you and giving you a quick peck whch your brother scoffed at. You gave Jake an apologising look as he mouths 'it's ok' as he goes to meet your sister. After everyones 'met' and settled down your sister asks for the toilet. Jake tells you he'll show you the way as the 3 of you leave the room. Not long after your brother following. As he catches up he slips into the space between you and Jake 'i wanted to come' he smiles wrapping an arm round your shoulders as you roll your eyes. 'we'll be back in a minute' you tell them as you take your sister into the toilets whilst giving your brother a look to say 'be nice'.
'So...' Jake says trying to start a conversation. 'Look...I'll be honest. I've never really been keen on you being with my sister, but now that
i've met you.' your brother starts as Jake looks up to him waiting for him to finish. 'I suppose your not so bad' he chuckles as Jake laughs back. 'So, we're cool?' 'Yea' your brother answers just as you come out the toilets with your sister.
